Pennywise X Reader

Chapter 2

I woke up in my bed all nice and warm. I didn't wanna get up.
The only benefit of today was my campus was online, so I didn't leave my house today.
I stretch and rub my eyes.
I felt so warm and happy, which is something I don't feel often.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I went to the sink and turned it on, grabbing my toothbrush and putting some bubblegum toothpaste onto its bristles.
I brush hard at my teeth and rinse my mouth out with some cold water.
I spit out the water and smile into the mirror, doing some inspection before walking over to the cabinet.
I open up the doors and grab my cherry blossom perfume and spray some on my neck.
I set it back down and grab some mouthwash and rinse my mouth with the minty liquid.
I like taking care of myself, it's something I'm good at.

I finish my bathroom routine and go over to the kitchen and pop open the fridge door.
Inside I see some food options staring me down, but I decided to go with eggs and some apple juice.
I cook the eggs to scramble them and pour me some apple juice and walk back to my room.
I set the food down on the bed and start to go over to my bookshelf and grab my laptop and campus info.

I eat and start to create my campus account. The eggs tasted good and the apple juice made me feel like a little kid again. Once signed into the campus website, I see a notification that I got sent a video titled: Welcome to Derry Campus!
The title seemed friendly, but also still made me feel weird. I still can't believe I'm in Derry.
I worked so hard to get here, and my dream has finally come true.
I clicked on the video and started to hear cheerful music in the background play while text showed onto the screen. I ate and watched the video, the music got annoying so I turned the volume down to 6.

The video ended and my breakfast was done. I set the laptop on the bed and carried the dishes to the kitchen.
I mentally prepared myself for campus while cleaning the dishes.
I got back into my room and got my laptop ready. I'm gonna do this.

(Time skip to after campus)
What a day. I am so tired from typing, I need to stretch myself out a little bit.
I close down the computer and set it down on my bookshelf.
I decided to go for a little walk, even though it was dark outside, the sun still peeked out a little bit.
I got changed into pants, a shirt, and a hoodie and tied my favourite Converses on and went out the door.

I started to walk down the neighbourhood street and it got colder and colder.
The wind blew my face and made me wish I was home with my blankets.
I walked further though, so far I saw a red balloon across the sidewalk from me.
I saw that there was a note on it, so I crossed the street.

Once over there, I took the note off the balloon and read it.

"Dear Y/N. It's me! Pennywise!! I hope you're enjoying the cold walk. But whatever you do, don't listen to the rumours."

What does that mean? I tucked the note into my pocket and grabbed the balloon and walked with it. It was creepy walking with it, the way it swayed in the wind made me freak out a lot.

I got home with the balloon and set it in my living room where I first saw Pennywise.
I walked to my room and sat the note down onto my desk, sighing and taking off my hoodie.
I heard giggling and knew it was Pennywise. I opened the door and saw him standing there, taller than the actual door frame.
"Hello!! Hehe..."
I welcomed him back into my room, smiling.
"Hey, you're back. What's with the note?"
He smiled, plopping back down into the spot he was in last time, "You need some encouragement for your walk!"
I patted his head, fixing his hair a little bit.
"Thank you I appreciate it."
He rocked again onto the floor, like a little kid at a playground.
"So, why did you come back?"
"To hear more stories and be with you."
"Really?"
"Yes!! Tell me more!!"
"Okay, what type do you wanna hear?"
"A funny yet scary one!"
"Okay well, I got one!"

For the next 4 hours I talked to Pennywise, he became so happy whenever he saw me and heard my stories, I had to laugh.
"You're crazy Y/N! I like your flare!!"
I bowed while sitting.
Pennywise laughed and got up and stretched.
I was a little scared of how he stretched though. His torso twisted so far that it's literally inhumane.
Which creeped me out, I started to question whether he was human.
He then went over to me and pat me on the head, "You're a good little girl. Very good."
He was treating me like a dog! A bigger question is why did I like it?

He sat down, but closer to me.
"So Y/N, I have one question. It's the easiest one of them all."
I nodded assuringly.
"What is it you fear?"
I stopped to think, there were some thing that creeped me out a lot.
"Well, the ocean, deep things, heights, insects, and other things also. Why?"
Pennywise smiled deeply, this was a different kind of smile. He wasn't doing that smile to make me happy, he was doing it to make me afraid.
"Nothing, I just wanted to know. You seem so brave!"
I rubbed my neck, hoping that was the case and he didn't plan to scare me or freak me out with some crazy stories about the fears.

Time passed on, and I slowly grew more and more sleepy. But Pennywise didn't.
I rubbed my eyes and excused myself and got changed into pjs in the bathroom.
I walked back into my bedroom and saw Pennywise gone with a note on my bed.
I read it with deep sunken eyes.

"I know you seem tired so I'll leave. But don't think I'm never coming back. Smile and head to bed Y/N. You need that."

I folded the note neatly and set it next to the other one.
I pulled down the covers and curled up underneath. There was so much going on in my brain I collapsed into sleep.
