seokjin smiled watching taehyung sleep. the faded blue tips of his hair covering his eyes. he picked strand of his hair and set it behind his ears pecking his forehead. he quickly pulled away and reached out for his buzzing phone. "hello", he whispered. "hello- hyung. how are you", namjoon asked. "i am okay. did you call me seven in the morning, to ask me if i was okay" seokjin asked softly. namjoon chuckled, "no- but why are you whispering." seokjin watched taehyung shift in his bed, "well, taehyung is sleeping. i don't want to wake him up", seokjin replied. namjoon cooed, "you both are so adorable. did you have a fun night." seokjin's ears turned red, "shut it namjoon", seokjin spoke loudly causing taehyung to shuffle in bed.

namjoon chuckled, "okay. okay- sorry", he mumbled. seokjin nodded, "you are forgiven", he chuckled as taehyung rubbed his eyes open. "actually, i think i might know what happened to your ring" namjoon spoke. taehyung raised his eyebrows, "who are you talking to", he asked. 'namjoon', seokjin mouthed, "you found out what happened to my ring", he spoke. taehyung raised his eyebrows snuggling close to seokjin pressing his ear against the phone.  "i didn't really find out but i have a guess", namjoon spoke. "i trust you joonie. you are probably right", taehyung asked. namjoon smiled, "oh, good morning tae- i see you are awake now." taehyung nodded, "i wouldn't miss a chance to talk to my soulmate", taehyung chimed. "okay. serious talk. what is your guess", seokjin asked urgently. "how about we talk about it over breakfast", namjoon suggested. "sure. i am up", taehyung replied before seokjin could open his mouth.

the three boys met at a diner to talk. taehyung munched on the burger as namjoon spoke. "well, i think mihee was your soulmate", namjoon spoke. "who is mihee", taehyung asked with the burger still in his mouth. "misoo's sister", seokjin spoke. "wait how is that punk girl related to your soulmate", taehyung fired again. "well that punk girl is my child hood best friend who my parents want me to marry because they believe we are made for each other" seokjin rushed over his words in an annoyed tone. taehyung did not speak again. "i don't understand though. why is misoo's ring missing too", seokjin asked. "it is simple. misoo's parents had to offer their other daughter because the one that was supposed to be your soulmate was dead", namjoon spoke. seokjin frowned, "my parents are not the best but they wouldn't do that.", seokjin spoke. namjoon bit his lip, "it is a probable option. you have yourself told me that your parents would go to any extent to see you with misoo. i was hoping we could work on this together", namjoon spoke calmly.

seokjin was furious, "why are you so adamant about this. admit it. kim namjoon can be wrong sometimes." he said standing up. taehyung watched the two boys with a blank expression. "you don't have to trust me hyung. ask your mother about your ring, try to find it. it will be black. you will know i was right", namjoon spoke as seokjin rushed out of the diner, his burger untouched. taehyung looked at his soulmate, "don't worry joonie, i will help you find the truth", taehyung reassured picking up seokjin's burger and running after him.
