Chapter 10

•^ Shuichi's POV ^•

I woke up at the sound of my blaring alarm. I sighed, reaching over for my phone,  turning off the alarm. I set my phone down and sat up after a few minutes of staring at the ceiling doing nothing.

I was honestly quite annoyed at the fact that alarms were so loud. I get that they're supposed to wake you up, but why did they have to be so loud? I just felt like they were unnecessarily loud.

But oh well. I can't really do anything about it, anyways. I shrugged slightly before officially getting off of my bed. It was about 7:35, which meant I had quite a bit of time to get ready for school.

I nodded to myself slightly before I left my room and went into the bathroom to shower.

And now uhm..I won't be going into detail at this point because, uh..I'm a minor. And you don't need the details anyways..so uhm..

I finished showering and I brushed my teeth quickly. I don't know why I hadn't done that first before I had gotten in the shower because that's what I usually do, but it didn't really matter all that much anyways.

I finished brushing my teeth and walked back into my room to change. I just changed into the clothes I usually wore, and styled my hair and put on eyeliner. Yes, I wear eyeliner, I don't like to talk about it. I put the eyeliner in my pocket and grabbed my hat off of a chair in my room.

I walked out the door before quickly turning back because I had forgotten my phone on the bed. Damn, I always have to forget something when I leave my room. Yesterday it was my eyeliner so I couldn't fix it at the mall, and it got all smudged. It was not fun. I checked my room once more making sure I didn't forget anything, and I didn't, thankfully, so I walked back out of my room.

I put my shoes on and grabbed my bag, grabbed the keys and walked out the door. I checked the time, and it was 8:27 and I needed to be at the bus stop at 8:30, and it took about two minutes to get there, and a little time to wait for the bus, so I left at a pretty good time. And I was oddly kind of proud of that.

Anyways, I walked to the bus stop, waited for a minute or two, and got on the bus. I checked the time on my phone and it was 8:32, and the bus would get to school at about 8:43 and school officially started at 8:45, so it would work out, and I wouldn't be late. I nodded slightly, and after a while we arrived at school, the bell rang and we all got off of the bus and walked inside.

I headed to my locker and obviously they halls were crowded, and I kept bumping into a bunch of people in an attempt to get to my locker. I kept getting pushed to the side, so I just decided to stay on the very far side of the hallway, until the crowd was a little smaller. I waited a few minutes and the crowd wasn't too big anymore so I decided to just go ahead to my locker now.

I got to my locker grabbed the books I needed for my first class, closed it and turned around. And almost immediately, I saw someone basically running towards me. I couldn't tell who it was at first because they were pretty far away, but I quickly realized it was Kokichi. I was honestly pretty shocked, as I didn't really know what he needed.

He started waving at me as he was running, and I was honestly quite flustered at the gesture, but I quickly waved back. He stood in front of me panting slightly before he spoke after a few seconds of silence.

"Hey, Shuichi! Uhm.."

He paused for a moment and as soon as I was going to say something, he quickly spoke up again.

"Soo, I needa ask you something at lunch so make sure you keep a look out for me, 'kay?"

He paused again for a few seconds before nodding and then quickly started walking away. And as he was walking, he called out,

"See ya later, Shuichi!"

And before I could do anything else, or even respond, he was already gone.

Damn. Why couldn't have he just asked the question right now? I sighed softly shaking my head as I started walking to my first period class..

I could already tell that this day was going to be a long day.
