Chapter 6

I asked Kokichi why he lied so much.

And I instantly regretted it.

I wanted to take it back, so badly.

But I couldn't, no matter what, it was already said. I just had to deal with it now.

I immediately tried to take it back, or just cover it up. "A-Actually uh, y-you don't h-have to a-anwse-" I was so nervous I didn't even realize Kokichi was already giving me an answer.

"..Its cuz..Lies are easier to carry that truths. And, you can manipulate the outcome of lies as much as you want...But there's only one truth to be told.."

Kokichi spoke very quietly, almost whispering, I barely even heard him over the other four talking.

"Kokichi..-"

I started to say, before getting cut off by Kaede speaking, quite loudly.

"Alright, guys! We're finally here!" Kaede exclaimed, with her signature smile.

"Alright! Let's go, Shumai~! C'mon, let's gooooo!" Kokichi.

"Okay, so, how about we all split up into groups of two, we go shopping, and around five,
six-ish, we all meet back here, and maybe get something to eat?" Rantaro suggested, everyone nodding in return.

"I call Maki-Roll! Maki's on my team now!" Kaito immediately shouted out, resting an arm on a flustered Maki's head.

"Oh, we're doing it that way, huh?" Kokichi said to himself quietly.

"Kokichi, what are you planni-" I tried asking him, almost immediately getting cut off.

"I CALL SAIHARA-CHAN, " Kokichi yelled out, grabbing my hand, dragging me along. "WE WILL BE ON OUR WAY NOW, YOU BASTAR-"

"K-KOKICHI!" I felt my face heating up, not only was Kokichi holding my hand, yet again, but people were staring at us, it was very embarrassing, I won't lie.

"Oh." Kokichi looked back, noticing we were already pretty far away from the group.

"Well, we're going to Hot Topic, Saihara-Chan, because I know you get most of your clothes from there-"

"K-Kokichi-"

"No resisting, Shumai!"

Oh boy, this was going to be one heck of an adventure..
