"I run off one blonde and you already have another!" A thick accent rung throughout the streets, the redhead who said it looked more then mildly-irritated. Her hand was placed at mid-hip and her head was cocked to one side, dark eyes threatening the younger blonde.

"Love let me handle this.." Klaus started, getting ready to step in front of her.
"Aurora I'm guessing?" Caroline asked with just as much fire, refusing to back down just because some guy told her to.

"I honestly don't see why you're so into young hookers Nik," aurora gave a sarcastic grin before turning her attention towards Klaus, "But I'm sure I can show you just how much technique comes with age."

"Look, grandma, I'm not trying to hook up with Klaus. We're barely friends." Caroline waved him off, remembering for the first time all night that they weren't friends.

Nothing even close.

"Oh, darling you're so foolish. Clearly, you don't see how he looks at you." The ginger stated, still staring daggers, "Maybe I'll just have to show you."

"Aurora you will not lay a hand on Caroline." Klaus stepped foreword, seeming to understand the conversation was taking a more violent turn. He stood protectively in front of her, not a hair on her head would be harmed while he was living.

"Oh Nik, how foolish of you to think that I would listen to you." Aurora shook her head sadly, "You really mustn't let all these baby vampires think they're anything but insignificant, it might hurt their feelings. Then again you clearly couldn't care less about anyone's feelings."

"Right now the only thing that's going to be hurting is you Aurora, unless Of course, you're a masochist, considering you think you'd ever have a chance with Klaus it seems probable." Caroline took a step towards aurora, fists already clutched.

"I ran off his little therapist Caroline I can sure as hell run off you, or maybe I'll simply eliminate you from the running entirely."

"I'm not in the competition, we're nothing more than acquaintances." Caroline thought about her relationship with Klaus again

They weren't friends and sure as hell weren't more.

So why did she get so nervous around him?

"We'll see each other soon Caroline," Aurora turned on her heel and threw a grin, flipping her hair, "I'll make sure of it."

And then she was gone.
