The next morning Caroline and Freya walked down the streets of New Orleans's french quarter, going to get the last few spell ingredients. They had managed to conclude that the prophecy was in fact true, but not in the way they expected.

Lucien would be the one to kill the Mikalesons, how, though was the question. That's what this spell was for, getting into Lucien's mind to see whatever plan he may have. For this, they needed a rare flower, the Frost Proof Gardenia, that they could only find in a shop down the street. Which wouldn't have been so bad had the owner not been very demanding in their prices?

"So all we do is give them this weird rock in exchange for an even weirder flower?" caroline asked, fiddling with the blue rock as they walked toward the small-windowed shop.

"Yes, then we can finally put this prophecy behind us." Freya snatched the rock away and entered the shop to go bargain with the trade.

On the way back it was already night, the sun was at the bottom of the sky and the moon was quickly chasing up, casting an illuminative glow around Freya and Caroline.

"Why don't I just speed us home?" Carolien groaned, "The dark gives me the heebie-jeebies," She shivered, the cold still slapping across them in a freezing chill.

"You're a literal vampire, a creature of the night, how the hell are you scared?" Freya asked, walking quicker though, to appease caroline as they made way towards the compound.

"I was once a mere human who was freaked out of the night. Let's just say that hasn't changed in the slightest. one of the only things that haven't changed from my human to vampire transformation was that." Caroline sighed, the memories of her almost pathetic human life hanging over her.

"What do you mean-" a man walked up beside Freya and knocked her head in, passing out the witch effectively.

Caroline immediately froze up, hands in the air ready to fight, "Who the hell are you!" The blonde ran towards the shadowy figure but was quickly stopped by a sharp pain in her neck.

Leaving Freya and Caroline possession of whoever this mysterious man was.
