Taehyung softly closed the door behind him, making his way towards the bed. Yoongi looked up from his phone, nodding at the younger. The brunette smiled at him before sitting on the chair beside the bed. "Did he wake up?" He whispered softly, pushing back the boy's hair.

Yoongi shook his head. "But the doctors said he should in a few hours." He said as he looked over at the sleeping boy. Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair. "He didn't come here, did he?" He asked as he took the grey-haired male's small hand in his own. Yoongi shook his head.

Taehyung stood up, taking out his phone and walking out of the room as he dialled a number. "Hello?" Came the gruff voice from the other side. "Mr Kim, your son is in the hospital." He said, not lingering on the usual needless politeness. A sigh came from the other side.

"Is that why you called? I'm busy here." The voice growled and Taehyung felt his blood boil. "I think your son is more important than whatever meeting you are in." He retorted, his hands clenching into fists.

"How dare you... " The older male gritted his teeth. fury evident in his voice. But the brunette cut the call, pocketing his phone. He turned around, walking back to the room. He kept his hand on the doorknob, gathering his courage before he opened it.

"Kim Taehyung-ssi!" Someone called out from behind him. He turned around to meet the eyes of the doctor who was in charge of Yeonjun. He bowed a bit, smiling a small smile. The doctor returned it. "Is Yeonjun's father still not here? I wanted  to talk to him." He said.

Taehyung gulped. "What did you want to talk about?" He asked, nervousness pooling in the pit of his stomach. The doctor looked at him once before he handed the younger a file. "Well, I needed him to sign these papers. Yeonjun needs surgery. He's stable right now but his condition can worsen if we don't operate now." He explained as Taehyung flipped through the pages.

"I'll sign them. I'm Yeonjun's guardian." The brunette said as he moved to one of the benches and kept the file on one of them before taking the pen from the doctor. "But, Taehyung-ssi, we need to tell him about the fees too and-" Taehyung cut him off, giving him a slight glare that shut him completely.

"I said I'll do it. You don't need to worry about the fees, just make sure he's okay." He said as he took the pen, signing at all the required places. He returned the paper and the doctor scrambled away, suddenly fearing the younger. Taehyung stood up straight, walking back into the room.

"He isn't coming?" Yoongi asked the brunette, who shook his head as he sat down next to the sleeping boy. "What about the fees of the hospital?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung chuckled softly. "I'll handle it, don't worry. I'll take up those missions we refused." He said as he looked at the older, giving him a smile.

"But those ones are really dang-" Yoongi cut off himself as he felt the silver-haired boy squirming. He opened his eyes, blinking to get them used to the light. Taehyung stood up, getting him a glass of water. He helped the younger drink before he pushed away the silver bangs.
