While everyone is arguing and questioning who the spy could be, Angel walks in, leaning on the doorway, and yells, "Enough!" while barely able to stand. They all look at him. Angel says, "Who cares who the spy is, why don't you guys figure out how to escape, because spy or not, the tracker is the only thing," Angel collapses, and continues, "keeping the First Order on us." Rey rushes over to attend Angel, as everyone rushes out to find the tracker. A trooper brings Angel a hoverchair, and Poe then takes Rey out and down the hall to a bench and talks to her. Poe spits on Angel on his way out.
Poe, "Don't be fooled by his appearance. He isn't who you think he is."
Rey, "What do you mean?"
Poe, "He is the reason I joined the Resistance. Now he's on our team. You don't think that smells fishy?"
Rey, "Angel is a good guy. You don't know him."
Poe, "Oh, and you do?"
Rey, "Well..."
Poe, "Look. If you even think there is a chance of you ending up together with him, you won't. He's not like that. He only cares about himself."
Rey, "Buy Jedi are selfless. How dare you,"
Poe, "We all grow up wishing to be Knights, or Castles, or even Bishops and Kings, but in reality, we are all just Pawns in his game. Expendable, whenever he wishes it."
Rey, "Angel would never do that."
Poe, "Then why does he let the galaxy suffer? He only steps in, when there is a prize to be won. A Crown fit for a King to be worn by a Champion. That's all he wants."
Rey, "Stop falsely accusing Angel of something he's clearly not. He wants the Galaxy to have peace, like it was in the days of The Republic about 60 years ago."
Poe, "Angel isn't even his real name."
Rey, "That's absurd. If so, then what is his real name?"
Poe, "Do you even knows where he lives? What he does for a living? How he makes a living?"
Rey, "No."
Poe, "Then don't defend a murder you don't know."
Rey, "He's not a murder."
Poe, "Yes he is. You see, my parents perished on the Victory Day Massacre. I remember very clearly, seeing this guy in a Red Mask, with two flaming Red Lightsabers," Rey remembers seeing that outfit in Snoke's Throne Room, and a vison of the attack on Ahch-To that Poe is talking about.
Poe, "I just remember fleeing, in a white X-Wing, my father taught me when I was 6, but I headed for Naboo, and told Lor Sen Tekka, 'Help, they're dying. They're dying. Can you save them.' I don't remember how old I was, maybe 13, 14, and when I got back with reinforcements, I saw my parents held at the point of a lightsaber blade, unable to move, and the guy in the Red Mask slashed downwards and..." Poe pausing, feeling immense grief, "they fell to the ground,...dead. I screamed, 'No!' I ran over crying, but he noticed I was protected by Royal Troopers, and I was frozen when he saw me, the guards next to me all perished, and he looked down at me, raised his blade, but then, he didn't kill me. To this day, I don't know why he didn't kill me. He just moved on. I fled back to Naboo, but that made everything worse, but that's another story for another time."
Rey says, "You're talking about Lord Abaddon, Snoke mentioned him. You said he had two red lightsaber blades? So did Abaddon."
Poe, "I told..."
Rey, "Let me go ask Angel if he ever met Abaddon."
Poe, "You won't like the answer he gives you."
