Chapter 4: Holdo Arrives

[First Order Fleet]

"General, a fleet just came out of hyperspace, and the Cannons are at 96%," says one of the officers. Hux replies, pull some of our fighters, and turn the ships around. It's about time we had something to do today." Snoke calls.

"Why are you pulling your TIE Fighters?" The Resistance scrambles their fighters from their fleet, and hundreds scramble from Snoke's ship. Hux begins his reply, but gets interrupted, "Exactly, you weren't thinking." Snoke hangs up

Tallie Lintra in her blue A-Wing gives the order, "We have buy as much time for those on the planet as we can." She gives a fist pump to those nearby in her cockpit and says, "If I die to toady, it was a pleasure fighting belong side you guys." As they see Snoke's TIEs inbound, the pilots reply, "Right back at you."

[Resistance HQ]

Poe orders, "Everyone on the transports." Akbar orders, "Leaders of the Resistance, split up on the transports so that we have a better chance of our leadership surviving to the fleet." Poe then realizing most of the TIEs are leaving, he orders the fleet, "Send fighters down to the surface. We to protect these transports." Holdo follows the orders because she believes it's what Leia would do.

{Meanwhile on the Falcon}

(back tracking to Luke getting on the Falcon)

Luke gets on the Falcon and see's Leia and Chewy together and thinks back to all the memories they've had on it. Chewy heads over to close the door when Luke motions to Chewy not to. He whispers, "Not until those Stormtroopers pass, and especially Kyle." Chewy nods, and Leia sits down to relax. When Magnus passes, Luke motions to Chewy to close the doors, and take off quietly. Luke orders them to fly low so they don't get the attention of the TIE Fighters that believe they are chasing the Millennium Falcon. Then the radio disrupts Luke's concentration with, "Leia come in," and Leia says, "Chewy, hit it. Holdo has arrived." The TIE Fighters then start to chase them, and TIE Darts are closing in. Luke yells at Leia, "Oh great, thanks a lot guys." Leia yells back, "Why are you getting mad at me? Chewy look out!" As TIE fighters attack from the front. Luke uses the force to get the pilots to chase them and away from the base, the transports begin taking off. TIE Fighters begin to retreat as a message from Snoke is received.

[Canady's Dreadnought]

"Captain, our cannon is ready," says an officer. Canady replies, "Excellent, tell Thrawn to target the Resistance fleet, since ours finished first." Thrawn agrees and turns his Dreadnaught around. Then he says, "What are we waiting for? Fire on the base!" 5 to 7 blasts are fired towards the base. Magnus see's the blasts and heads towards the forest. He says to himself, "Well, looks like my job here is done."

[Resistance Fleet]

The battle continued as the blasts hit the ground, killing half the Resistance and the Stormtroopers on the ground. Luke feels a little funny, but Leia drops to the ground, feeling like she had a heart attack. Leia starts to shed tears for all the losses at the base, which she feels responsible for. Luke goes over and comforts her. Leia says, "Its my fault. They could have lived had I asked for the fleet sooner." Luke tells her, "It's not your fault. Unfortunately, this happens in war."

-Tallie Lintra gets swarmed by TIE Fighters as a Dart fires an APR-1 at her. Other fighters continue to get mowed down by Darts and other TIE Fighters rear turrets. Luke and Leia see fighters getting blown up, and Leia is drawn towards Tallie's A-Wing. Leia witnesses an APR-1 being fired at Tallie and she blows up. Leia has a sad moment of reflection. As the remaining members from the base board the Resistance Fleet, the aerial assault continues. As Darts get shot down near the turrets of the Cruisers, Snoke orders his fighters to fall back. Snoke then says over the holocom, "Initiate Phase 4." Thana is appalled by this, and Snoke says, "He's awake."
