3RD FLOOR, HALLWAY C, ROOM 8.

PART ONE:

The hallway was surprisingly quiet to say there was supposed the be a party, so quiet they were almost sure they'd got the wrong hallway. They had already taken two wrong turns coming from Tommy's room  located and then lost Ada, then bumped into Headmaster Charleston and had to convince him they were just out to the library to study.

Ada was outside Room 8 waiting for them. "I didn't want to go in alone. I don't really know anyone else."

"Well, we're here now." Eva chirped. She swung open the door and announced herself. "Do not worry, I am here now!"

"Sorry, who are you?" Lee asked.

"How dare you?"

"Hey, Lee." Tommy said.

"Tommy! Glad you made it! How about that girl Freya, she's a bit nice..." Eva and Ada could hear Lee saying as he dragged Tommy off further into the room to get him a drink.

"Well he's rude." Eva said.

"Yeah... Reckon we can just go get a drink?"

"Well I am!" Eva said, and started forward until she saw something that made her stop in her tracks.

"What's the matter?"

"That guy... Do we know him?" Eva asked, squinting her eyes in the darkened room to get a better look at the brown-haired boy she saw standing by the window.

"Nope. Drink?"

"Yeah, sure." Eva said, still staring. He glanced over at her, but showed no trace of recognition on his face.

He just mouthed the words, "what are you looking at?" And turned away.

She shook her head, trying to erase the embarrassing situation, accepted the drink Ada handed to her, and took a big gulp. "Is everyone here so rude?"

"Maybe he doesn't like people gawking at him." A stern female voice from behind said. It was Adriana. "Especially since you're definitely not his type, so don't even try it."

"I'm sorry, is the storm outside or did it make its way in here?" Ada asked, and almost shocked herself at her outburst. So was Eva. Now she was staring at Ada instead.

"I think-"

"You should leave? God idea." Adriana said, with a hand on her hip and a snooty, smug look on her face as she stared at Eva.

"Maybe I don't like being gawked at. Especially since you're definitely not my type." Eva slammed her drink down, splashing Adriana, and she quickly left, with Ada in tow.

PART TWO:

"What the hell was that girls' problem?!" Eva raged to Ada in their dorm room.

"Maybe she fancies him? I can't think of another reason she'd have such a problem with you looking at him." Ada said, shrugging.

A knock at the door, instantly followed by a crash of thunder made both the girls jump. "If that's her come back for another go..."

"Relax, it's Tommy." Ada said, slightly blushing as she opened the door and let him in.

"What the hell happened?" He asked, and took a sip of the drink he'd taken from Lee's room. "I turned around and you'd gone! I hear Aderana said something to ya." He slurred, completely mispronouncing the name.

"Adriana... And yes she did, so I left before I punched her. Anyway, it took you long enough to notice we left!"

"Don't blame you. Liam said she'd a bit-"

"Liam? Another best friend as soon as you enter a party?"

"Well, he did invite me." Tommy raised a drunken eyebrow.

"No. Lee invited you. Liam is Cory's roommate."

Tommy waved a hand in the air. "Whatever. Either way, he doesn't seem to like her much, but she spent a lot of time talking to come guy called Harry. She was all over him... It was quite sickening to be honest with you," He said while he was chuckling. "Do we know him from somewhere? He looks awfully famililal- famililiar- fami-" He grunted. "You know what I'm trying to say."

"I do. And I asked Ada the same thing. But she doesn't recognise him."

"Hmm. Must be one of them faces he has then." Tommy sat down and carried on supping the drink he had in his hand. "I don't know what is in this but it is good. I should probabably stop though. We have another Mind Block thingy in the morning." He stumbled over his words again.

"Go to bed, Tommy." Eva sighed. "Hopefully Adriana doesn't show up to classes tomorrow. I can't be dealing with her throwing daggers at me all day."

"You don't have that kind of luck." Tommy threw the bottle in the small bin in the corner of the room. "What a shot! Anyway, ladies, I shall be off." He stood up, stumbled, and managed to catch himself on the doorway.

"I think I should walk with him."

"To film this, right?" Ada laughed.

"No... Maybe. But I will also help him. Tommy's never really drank before." Eva raised her eyebrows and smirked at her roommate. "I'll be back soon."

She took Tommy up to the first floor, when he suddenly stopped outside a room. "This is me."

"No it isn't. You're on the second floor."

"Yeah... We've come from floor one, this is floor two." Tommy said.

"Nooo, we came from the ground floor This is floor one, the next is floor two."

"What?! I never was any good with numbers." He rubbed his head.

"Let's just get you to bed, shall we?" Eva carried on leading him up the next set of stairs to his dorm room which, luckily, he had all to himself.
