Part 15

** Evie's POV **
It's now after school and the boys have been quiet with me basically quite a quiet day. Almost awkward. At the end of it i was stood outside waiting for Louis as always and he came out talking to some guys he almost walked past me but said bye and came over. He didn't even hug me.

"Are you mad at me" i questioned him i wanted to know what was us

"No why would i be. Also i'm sorry about this morning i got carried away and forgot to wait" Was he really not even gonna mention Zayn and the fight.

"Yeah, that's fine. can we go to get some ice cream"

"I'd love to but i have somewhere to be but we can tomorrow if you want" He was definitely trying to get out of it

"We need to talk Louis"

"We do ? What about" why the hell is he acting so dumb.

"Us. And this morning are you going to ignore the fact that Zayn got beat up and he's left us for Harry"

"I mean that's what you wanted right ? You told him to stop defending you. Plus you didn't even deny he was your boyfriend" IS HE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW

"Well maybe if MY BOYFRIEND had actually said something we wouldn't have got into that predicament. You know i don't ask for you to be all protective and big man around me, i love when you joke around with me and when your sweet. but in situations like that, don't you think it'd be nice for you to stand up for me"

"Well i'm sorry i think Mr Malik has a f*cking thing for you so he might as well take my job !! I was shocked that they were saying that to you i just didn't know what to do" really Zayn was just my friend what the hell

"He's just my friend. You know they call me stuff they have always. Louis i don't want us to argue" i hugged him and surprisingly he hugged back

"Neither but.. I think i just need some time, we're still together i just need to think ok. I'm sorry. I'll see you tomorrow"

We just said goodbye and walked off i ended up going to this shop near a park i walked in and i was happy there was no queue no people. Till i walked into the last aisle to just get some chocolate milk and crisps because i felt.. not great about my argument with Louis and just life. There they were Harry and Zayn. I was so surprised to see them there i hadn't seen Harry go out in forever. I heard them talking about some mates waiting at the park and Harry was gonna buy them all some stuff to share. Of course then they spotted me and stopped talking i got the crisps from beside them and went to the till footsteps behind me. As i was meant to pay i looked for my money in my pockets and was so confused i couldn't find it anywhere. Sh*t.

"Uhm im sorry one second let me just" as i frantically searched my many pockets.

"How much is it" i heard Harry say from behind me assuming he was talking to Zayn but.

"£5" that's what mine cost

He went over to the lady and passed her £5 i was so shocked he had actually paid for me god dammit. I had no money to pay him back. This was a disaster he was probably gonna tell his mates all about how poor i am and he had to pay for me. I turned to him and he just smiled so i said Thanks and he carried on with his stuff and Zayn. I left to walk to my house i got in and ran upstairs. I was confused as to what just happened did Harry really just pay for me. I needed to pay him back i still had his number so i decided to text him.

Evie: Uh Harry i was just wondering if you could well i could pay you back like when could i

Harry 😶: Woah haven't seen this contact in use for ages.

Evie: please when can i meet you

Harry 😶: Hm i'm gonna be heading home in an hour meet me at the corner of your street then

Evie: ok

I just needed now to find a fiver and get changed because i didn't wanna get my uniform dirty. Within 45 minutes i was ready and just waiting i was sat on the couch watching the time. No clue what i was gonna say or if he'd be alone or would he just take the money and leave. Ok ok i'll leave now and just wait maybe he'll come early.

I was stood for an extra 13 minutes after the time he gave me. Then he came i saw him coming towards me.

"I wouldn't have been alone but Zayn refused to come with me so him and my mate went home. what is it you wanted from me"

"I um here i need to pay you back and thank you again for back there" i said handing him a £5 note

"Yeah no keep it. it's fine i would have probably spent it on shit anyway" he folded his arms

"Please take it i'll feel bad"

"Nope. but what should make you feel bad is this morning you really backstabbed my friend you know. not a great move" did he really just do that

"i have to go" not going to have that conversation with him i'm just not.

"That's what you do run away from your problems like they're not happening you let other people deal with them" i heard him saying in the distance as i was walking off

He was right wasn't he of course i always ran away from my problems god i was so stupid. I called Liam and asked if he could come over he said he'll be over later tonight. I guess i'll just wait till then i just really needed someone to talk to i missed Louis.

** Louis's POV **
I did like Evie i really did but a lot has changed since we started dating i enjoyed spending time with her just like before. It all felt just like before except we would spend more time alone and we'd kiss and hold hands. And of course the label. She's a great girl she's funny nice sweet pretty but she's just.. she's made me realise i basically only like her as a really good friend. Almost a sister i know Liam was her cousin and he'd get pis*ed at me but i no longer wanted to lead her on. I decided i would tell her tomorrow i wanted to do it face to face ask to just be friends because i wanted to keep on being friends she was amazing. I still wanted to hang out. That's it i'll tell her tomorrow.

Louis was so set so ready but he didn't know the plans the other boys had for tomorrow not even that they may interfere with his own plan.
