Part 30

** Evie POV **
It felt so good when he hugged me but hey we're JUST friends i mean he's already got himself a girlfriend so why should i bother.

"Are you tired" i asked

"Nope not at all to be honest i could run a marathon" he said laughing and i laughed to.

"Yeah you stay up late then your impossible to wake up !" i said back to him to which he just laughed and walked to the bathroom. "Hey ! your gonna take ages in there"

"No i'm not" he shouted back

"Let me go first !" i shouted and surprisingly he opened the door gave me a fake dirty look laughed and sat on his bed and pretended to sulk. So i took the chance and went and got a shower.

After about an hour Zayn FINALLY finished in the bathroom and came out in his jogging bottoms and yeah topless, wet hair. This boy is really not making it easy for me is he.

"Babe your staring again" he said in a really charming voice then burst out laughing and shook his hair. I was probably blushing like crazy.

"Zayn.. get dressed" i sighed

"Nope this is how i'm sleeping well going to be without these but you won't see that" he said grabbing his joggers "Wanna watch something before you be boring and go to bed ?" he said sitting on my bed

"Uh ye-ah sure" i said and sat next to him while he put on some movie. "Zayn ?" i asked and he nodded for me to continue "Can i ask a few questions about you know"

"Yes? i guess" he said avoiding eye contact.

"what happened after you got.. stabbed?" i said as i leaned my head on his shoulder.

"i was shocked i had no clue what had just happened it all happened so quick he was beating me up then i fought back and just stabbed me and ran away, i was lucky enough to actually be wearing my leather jacket that night it was hot so i don't know why i was but i used that to try stop the bleeding then i called an ambulance and passed out so i'm not exactly sure what happened after and obviously because i'm still underage so my identity was hidden. Ever since i recovered i started doing 'research' and i try to track his attacks the first time he saw me after that he doesn't try with me he has some sort of respect for me" he said shrugging and let his head tip back against the wall.

"i'm sorry, i have another question that's not about that" i said trying to look at him

"Go on then" he said still not looking at me

"Did you uh.. like me in high school, i know it's a stupid question jus-" he cut me off

"Yeah" he said getting up and turning off the tv and lights as he headed into the bathroom with his phone.

God i'm such an idiot why did i have to ruin that ! He probably won't talk to me now. I was just laid down in bed trying to fall asleep when i heard Zayn laugh and say bye love you in the bathroom. Of course he went and called his girlfriend before bed. Uh i groaner turned around and fell asleep.

** Zayn POV **
I don't know something just snapped in me and i didn't want to take it out on her even though Evie caused it. A mixture of the two questions just uh both caused me pain and yeah. I went to the bathroom to call Harry yeah all the boys knew now and i would normally talk to probably Liam about this but he'll probably speak to her so would Niall and Louis would think i'm joking so that leaves Harry.

*phone call*
"Z why you calling you saw me like 20 minutes ago"

"I don't know, Evie asked about that night i got stabbed and then she randomly asked i liked her in high school i just said yeah and came to the bathroom to call you because i didn't wanna shout at her" i replied

"You should have just said you don't like talking about it and left it at that. Just go to bed and chill we'll see each other tomorrow morning right ?" he said

"Yeah i guess i just can't wait for my favourite lesson" i said obviously sarcastically

"Yeah yeah with you favourite person awh. alright love you bye" he said and laughed

"bye ! love you" i said and laughed, the whole love you thing started a while ago in our old high school Harry insisted that i didn't get told it enough and i can't disagree. After that i just went to bed.

** Niall POV **
As you can tell i'm in a bit of a sticky situation well i've just woken up and i'm eating my pre breakfast and i'm thinking about Evie liking Zayn should i tell him or act upon it. I should probably start by asking if he's dating that girl we saw him with the other day right.

Time for first class i guess i'll ask him since he sits near me. As i walked in most people were already there but of course he wasn't so i had to wait. After about 10 minutes he came in obviously late talked back to the teacher and sat down as usual.

"Zayn bro" i said asia turned to him

"Yes Niall" he said

"Have you got a girlfriend?" i asked

"Why you hitting on me ?" he said laughing

"No" i said and laughed "i saw you yesterday with that girl Jennifer she was all over you what's that about"

"God i don't know she's like obsessed with me i hate her" he said and i was kinda relived for Evie at least

"Oh right, spoke to Evie?" i asked trying to get him to say something about her

"Nah but like someone told her i liked her then i got pissed and walked out" he said and i sighed it was my fault but i wasn't gonna tell him that it was me.
