Chapter 11

"I want to apologise, and explain a few things. I would also like you to listen and not interrupt me until I'm done." Zayn stated. He then proceeded to tell them everything that he and Shane had talked about.
"You turned down a date with Liam? Seriously?" Louis asked like Zayn was mad.
"So, you'd still want to go out with me?" Liam asked.
"Yes, and yes. Louis, I'm not going to cut you out, and Liam I still want to go out with you." Zayn answered.
"I'm glad you finally figured it out Zayn. Now, can anyone tell me why Shane is sweating like he's a garden hose?" Harry asked.
"He's going to ask Niall out." Zayn said.
"What? He's finally going to ask him out, and leave me the only single one?" Louis inquired in a slightly sassy tone.
"Hey Lou, don't forget about me. I'll be single too. Maybe we could start up a singles club, not others allowed."
"Ooo, we could spy on the boys while their having dates."
"Not what I had in mind, but.."
"Yes of course." They heard Niall screech.
"Hey lovebirds, come join us." Zayn called out.
"Their not birds Zayn."
"Oh for, Louis that's not what the phrase means." Zayn said in a slightly irritated voice.
"So how are you gonna get out of the principal and the two weeks of skipped school?" Louis asked as Niall and Shane sat down.
"My mom never reads the notes she signs. I'll just write one about being sick, I mean I wasn't mentally okay, so it works." Zayn replied.
The boys enjoyed the rest of the time together, and made plans for the weekend at Harry's. The days ended, and school came all to fast.
*Lunchtime*
"So Z, did the note work?" Louis asked in a whisper.
"Yep." Zayn answered.
"We really should work on another song this weekend." Shane announced.
"Yeah, I mean if we plan to audition for the X factor, we definitely need to have some music ready." Harry chimed in.
"So, we're serious? We're really going to do it?" Liam asked.
"Yeah, it'll be amazing. Our music teacher even recommend we try it without knowing we were thinking about it." Louis said excitedly.
"Then I say, let's write as many as we can." Zayn piped in.
The boys spent the week catching up and then on Friday, Liam took Zayn on their first date to a comic book store. Niall and Shane went to the movie theater. Harry had invited Louis over since he was coming over tomorrow anyway, and he didn't want him to be alone.
"We're like an old married couple being nervous about our kids on their first date." Harry chuckled.
Louis laughed as he tossed a few popcorn pieces on Harry from the shared popcorn bowl. Harry started tossing them back until they were in a tickle war. The came too when they fell on the floor with Louis on top his face a few inches from Harry's. They stared into each other's eyes before Louis phone beeped inturupting the moment. Louis mentally cursed his phone as he got up to check it. Harry began awkwardly picking up the popcorn pieces.
"Who is it?" Harry asked
"My mom, checking to make sure I'm ok."
"Ohh."
"Yeah, I'll help you clean up."
"Ok Lou, thanks."
"No problem Hazza."
The two boys picked up before deciding to go to bed. The other boys were going home, and then coming over in the morning so their was no need to stay up.
"Haz, can we cuddle tonight?"
"Of course Lou."
They soon fell asleep with Louis spooning Harry.
*The next morning*
Harry woke up to find Louis gone. He rubbed his eyes and then heard Louis downstairs in the kitchen. He rushed down to the kitchen afraid that Louis might start a fire. He wasn't the best cook after all. He got downstairs to see Louis setting the table.
"Good morning Lou."
"Good morning Hazzy."
"What are you making?" Harry asked with a tentative voice.
"That's for you to find out, now go put some decent clothes on, and it'll be done when you come out."
Harry huffed as he headed upstairs. With Louis bossy tone, he knew he wouldn't find out any information anyway. He got dressed quickly and hurried back stairs as Louis was bringing the dish from the oven to the table.
"Mmm, it smells good Lou, what did you make?"
"It's chicken stuffed with mozzarella, wrapped in Parma ham with a side of homemade mash potatoes."
The two boys ate the meal, and it turned out really well considering Louis normally couldn't cook. When they were cleaning up Louis asked Harry something.
"Hey Haz, do you wanna be be my boyfriend?"
"I would love to be Boobear."
After they cleaned the kitchen, they cuddled on the couch watching a silly rom-com waiting for the boys to show up. Pretty soon, the other boys showed up and Louis proudly announced Harry as his boyfriend. After congratulations were passed around, they got to song writing.
By lunch time they had written One Thing and Stole My Heart. They ordered pizza and spent the rest of the afternoon filling in their audition paperwork for the Xfactor.  They emailed in the paperwork and spent the evening chilling before going to bed as round 10 o'clock.
When they woke up in the morning, the first thing they did was to check the inbox of the band's email, even though they knew it would be a few days before they got a response. They spent the rest of the weekend writing songs and stressing about the Xfactor paperwork, and before to long school started again.

(Authors note: I'm a vegetarian, Soni have no clue if you bake the dish that Louis made, so just roll with it.
