Chapter 12

*First day back at school*
"Students please come to the auditorium please. I repeat, please come to the auditorium."
The 6 boys followed the crowd of student's to the auditorium and took their customary seats.
"Alright students, settle down please. As you know this is the last month of school. I'd ask that you stay focused and study hard as finals and testing will be happening in these last few weeks."
The principal droned on and finally released them. The morning went slowly for the boys. They couldn't wait for lunch time. When lunch came, the first thing they did was to check the band's email. To their surprise and delight they had an email from the Xfactor. This was a letter of acceptance. It told them about the things they would need to bring in case they passed boot camp and went on to the live shows. They sat their reading the list, too excited to eat. They were headed off to boot camp in five weeks. The last month of school passed painfully slow. They spent this time packing everything they would need for the Xfactor. Including the live shows. They even recorded the audio to the fifteen songs they had written. They decided to sing What Makes You Beautiful for the first audition. The day before the Xfactor, the boys and their parents drove up and checked into the hotel. The boys had one suite. There were three beds, and the couple's each took one. They were to excited to sleep that night. Tomorrow they were going to be on the Xfactor. After a sleepless night which they ended up spending rehearsing down in the conference room they got ready and were out the door by 5 a.m. They arrived to the place and got in line. They ended up being a late afternoon contestants. Harry's parents left him with the group when the went to grab water and food. The boys drank the water, but they were to nervous to eat. When their audition happened, they got 4 yesses and we're headed off to boot camp. They almost failed boot camp due to the fact that they really couldn't dance. They were on to the live shows, and moved into the Xfactor house. They chose the three bed room up at the top of the stairs. Each week they filmed their Xfactor diary on those stairs. They ended up coming in at second place in the competition. Their mentor on the Xfactor decided to sign them, and that was how the ended up under Simon Cowell. The six young boys would soon learn that Simon hadn't just taken over their career, he'd taken over their life. They weren't allowed to say they were dating each other, and they were out under beards or PR relationships. Simon controlled everything, even how the public saw them.
*Two years later*
The boys had two number one albums. The first one was named Up All Night, and the second one was called Take Me Home. They were currently in their TMH tour, and writing their third album. They were finally getting a break, and had rented a private party room so they could go out to eat and spend some time as couple's. At the dinner Shane, Zayn, and Louis had a surprise waiting for Niall, Liam, and Harry. Shane, Louis, and Zayn proposed and the other boys said yes. They had to hide from the public, but at least they could marry their best friend and highschool sweetheart.
