Ch. 28: The Visit

《1st POV》

I woke up feeling like I'm on the bridge of death. My eyes are strained, my head hurts, and needles were in my skin once again. I slowly rose my hands in front of me. My hands...they were bandaged-free.

Instead, they were replaced with the full quirk-resistant gloves I once knew. They were rather the light but heavy resistant ones they first gave me just like two years ago.

I didn't understand. I was fine until that stupid nightmare triggered my PTSD. I wanted to cry but I can't. I already accepted hopelessness, because in this moment, I knew I can never see my friends again.

《3rd POV》

"What do you mean she passed out?!" Todoroki stood up from his chair as Dr. Yuu called him into her office.

"Hai, she woke up randomly screaming and crying," she explained casually, "When her roommates notified us, we tried calming her down and taking her, but she thrashed around."

Todoroki cursed. "How about her medication?"

"Say, Todoroki, is there some...factor in her life that's affecting her?" Dr. Yuu asked instead. "She confidentally refused to take her medication, but now she's taking them like crazy."

Todoroki winced with disgust. Bakugou, was definitely his first thought. "Iie," Todoroki said instead. "I think you need to prescribe her another medication."

"I don't think that'll be necessary," Dr. Yuu nodded with a confident smile, softly tapping her pen against her notepad. "I think it's working perfectly."

Todoroki flinched feeling angered. "What do you mean it's working perfectly? Didn't you, yourself, just say she's taking them like crazy? That's unhealthy! I don't even understand why you let her take as much as she wants!"

"We'll be doing some tests on her," Dr. Yuu professionally said, not minding him. "I'll give you an answer in 3 days."

"Three days?" Todoroki furrowed his eyebrows. "That leaves two days left until the week is up. She's staying only for a week right?! I promised her!!"

"The tests will determine how long she stays here," she continued normally. "But you don't need to fret. I'm sure all will go well."

"Hai...I understand," Todoroki sighs.

Todoroki couldn't stop worrying on his way to school. He wondered how long you really have to stay and thought how dumb Dr. Yuu's new strategy was.

As he thought about transferring you to another unit, his plan got lost as his gaze met Bakugou walking opposite from him.

Bakugou had his normal annoyed look and raised an eyebrow at Shoto. Todoroki clenched his fist and stormed up to him. Suddenly, he took him by the collar of his shirt and shoved him against the wall.

"OI THE FUCK?!" Bakugou snarled, staring wide-eyed at him in surprise.

"You! What did you do to [Y/n]?" Shoto growled, and Bakugou scoffed, wondering if he was talking about all the mean stuff he told you at the hospital.
