R.I.P. Quarter Sunset, I hope we find your body someday.
Me and @HowToBendA_Spoon about 3 months ago, found a small newborn turtle, barely the size of a quarter with sunset markings on her belly. Spoon lives by a giant pond with a big collection of turtles that her and me like to catch and hang out with, along with the normal routine of checking them for leeches.
Quarter Sunset was the perfect, healthy baby turtle, a month or two later, Spoon left for Georgia on vacation, right before she found Quarter Sunset... and she was missing one of her front legs!
Right before heading off to Georgia Q.S. dissapeared, they couldn't find her. And without her front leg she can't swim... so I think we all know what's happened by now.
R.I.P. Quarter Sunset!
