Chapter 1

Things went to shit real quick. Pyrrah accidentally killed Penny due to Emerald's illusion. The negative emotions brought tons of Grimm. However, there is more than anyone thought. Many different types of Grimm showed up and Salem herself joined the fray. Team GATR, who was at a skatepark when everything went down, is watching the chaos unfold from their bullhead. Buildings are demolished, businesses are burning, civilians in danger.

Grey: We're reaching our drop point, boys! Whatever happens down there, just know that it's been great being your leader! I couldn't have asked for a better team!

Trenton: Don't get all soft now! But, it's been fun!

Ajax: Likewise!

Grey: Ray and Trent, you two will deal with the Grimm near the docks. Ajax and I will handle the Grimm at the park!

Pilot: We're at the drop point! Good luck!

The team ready their skateboards. Grey signals the others to jump out. The first is Ray with Trenton shortly after. Ajax leaps off the bullhead as Grey jumps off last. Grey uses his semblance to make a track out of rock. Ray lands perfectly. Trenton stumbles as he lands, almost falling before he composes himself. Ajax sticks his landing and takes the lead heading down. Grey lands, his board shifting slightly before he fixes the position. Some Nevermores head towards them.

Grey: We have incoming!

Everyone pulls out their weapons. The flock gets closer to the team. Trenton slashes a Nevermore's wing off and it's decaying body descends towards the ruined streets. Grey sends a boulder at another one, smashing it's face inwards. A third gets through the team's attacks and grabs a hold of Grey.

Trenton: Shit!

Ajax: I got it!

Ajax smashes a section of the makeshift track, angling it upwards into a ramp. Ajax flies off the ramp towards the Nevermore that took Grey. The fourth Nevermore heads towards Ray, who is nearing the bottom.

Trenton: Brace yourself, Ray!

Ray ducks down and traps the Nevermore in a burning ball of light. Trenton hits the ramp Ajax made and soars above the large bird, turning Our Savior into rifle form before blasting it. Trenton lands right next to Ray, slightly behind him. However, in front of the two is a group of Ursai with a larger than normal Ursa Major and some Creeps.

Trenton: You see this shit?!

Ray: I haven't seen and Ursa Major that big before!

The two reach the end with Ray launching his board through the air, striking an Ursa while Trenton kicks his board upwards, smacking a Creep's jaw. The other Grimm in the group turn towards the huntsmen in training. Trenton turns his weapon back to it's sword form.

Trenton: Alright, kiddos, the party's over.

Ray blinds the Grimm long enough for Trenton to set off a chain of electricity through the Grimm. All but the Major turns to dust.

Ray: That's one tough son of bitch.

Trenton: .....

Ray: Got any ideas?

Trenton: Fuck it. We'll get 'em with a cheap shot.

The Ursa Major slams it's front legs down, sending debris towards the two teammates. Ray dodges by jumping left while Trenton rolls to the right.

Trenton: Ray, you're quicker! Distract the shithead!

Ray nods and gets the Grimm's attention. Trenton runs behind it and swings his sword upwards, cutting it between the legs on up to the head. The Grimm starts decaying. Ray gives a thumbs up while Trenton nods. The two then look around, spotting blood nearby.

Trenton: Shit.

Ray sees some dead bodies not too far away.

Ray: Trent.

Trenton looks and sees what his friend is showing him.

Trenton: We're too late saving them here. Let's get to the docks. This place is turning into a shitshow on fire.

They make their way through the streets of Vale, stopping now and then to slay Grimm and rescue civilians. When they reach the docks, they make sure the civilians get to safety. The two wait for evacuation for the civilians when the Atlesian Knights turn on them.

Trenton: Somebody commenced order sixty six.

Trenton absorbs the electricity from their circuits and quickly dismantles them. Ray notices something in the sky.

Ray: Shit, dude. Look.

Trenton looks up to see the Atlesian ships shooting at each other. The ships explode and their debris fall into the city below. Trenton and Ray get a call on their scrolls from Grey.

Trenton: Grís, we have civilians down here ready for evac. The robots turned against us.

Grey: They turned against us too. What was with those ships?

Trenton: If I had to guess, I'd say infiltration. One of those had Torchwick on it.

Grey: We managed to clear the park and we're headed towards you.

Another explosion goes off and load roars can be heard.

Grey: What was that?

Ray: Some shit just went down.

Trenton: I'll check it out. Ray, stay here. I'll meet up with you guys.

Trenton takes off towards where the recent chaos has taken place. He gets stopped by a large Lion Grimm and it's relative Mantacore.

Trenton: Well, if it ain't Daniel and the cooler Daniel.

The Grimm send fireballs at Trenton, who dodges.

Trenton: Nevermind that, you're just a couple of hotheads.

He swings his sword at the lion. The hit connects, but doesn't do enough damage as the Grimm stands there. The Mantacore strikes Trenton with it's wing, knocking him down. He goes to get up only to be met with a massive paw slamming down on his chest, making a crater. Trenton gets angry and uses his semblance to send a surge of purple electricity outwards, stunning the Grimm. He frees himself and changes Our Savior into rifle form. He holds the trigger, charging up a shot.

Trenton: Fuck off, cunts.

The blast goes through the lion's eye and the side of the Mantacore's head. Before Trenton can head out, lots of Grimm surround him. Giant spiders burst from the ground, massive crocodile Grimm walk out of buildings, and a King Taijitu. Trenton's arachnophobia kicks in. He breathing becomes heavy and he switches his fear into anger.

Trenton: Bring it, you fucks!

Trenton charges at the Grimm in front of him. He stabs a crocodile in the eye before ripping it out, electricity flowing through him. He dodges a web from one of the spiders. He lunges at it and fires a blast through it's head. With each attack his electricity gets more and more redder until it's a solid red color. Trenton takes down about half of the Grimm before getting impaled in his chest on the left, just missing his vitals. Trenton grabs the spider leg and breaks it before pulling it out.

He can feel his aura draining at a rapid rate. Trenton quickly puts together what happened. The spider Grimm can drain people of their aura. He turns the rifle back to the sword form. Another spider goes to strike him with it's leg only for Trenton to catch it in the sword's gap. He twists and tugs, ripping the leg off. A crocodile knocks Trenton down. The Grimm are about to finish him off until some off their buddies get blasted to dust by an unknown person. Trenton uses what's left of his strength to get the Grimm off him. As he's about to kill the one that knocked him down, the stranger cuts it with the saw on his rifle.

Trenton: Who the fuck are you?
