Chapter 17

Trenton: Where's the rest of your damn circus?

Salem: Dealing with the pests you call friends.

Without any other words, Trenton fires a shotgun blast towards Salem only for it to be blocked by Cinder.

Salem: Cinder, take care of this.... dog.

Cinder: Of course.

Cinder forms twin glass blades and flies towards Trenton. He fires another round before switching to ax mode. The shot hits, but does little to nothing. Trenton parries every swing Cinder makes. Cinder flings fire at the young man, only for him to quickly sidestep and strike her in the back. Cinder quickly slashes at Trenton, just scratching the armor. As Trenton recovers, he slams the ax downwards. Cinder is too late to try anything as the ax chops off her left arm.

Just as he's about to finish her off, Trenton gets shot in the side. He grunts as he falls to one knee. He looks over at where the shot came from to see the setting start to shift to a familiar house. He then takes notice that he's inside the house. The house catches fire as he hears voices of the people he never wanted to see again. The ones he killed just to get away from it all.... his family. The years of bullshit, constant berating, being called an "asshole" for no reason, hearing the same "you have friends?" line over and over for years.

Trenton: I killed y'all once, I'll gladly fuckin' send ya to hell again.

He gets up and examines the room he's in. As he turns around and sees them all. All but one, anyway. That one was just a mercy kill. The others are assholes.

There's a moment where they all don't do a thing, until the Grimm start running. Trenton predict this typical shit and strikes his sister first as she was closer. He then grabs his brother, who leaped into the air, and slams him onto the floor. He shotgun blasts his step brother and step sister as they gain near. As he goes against his dad and step mom, the others get up and charge into the fight. As they pile up on the hero, he uses his semblance to force them off of him.

Fire starts spreading as the Grimm family multiply. Trenton gets knocked through a wall before quickly sending a flying fist to one of their faces. He then slams the ax into another's side, cutting them in half. Trenton and the Grimm trade blows here and there, Trenton getting more and more frustrated. He eventually just starts using his fists. He then snaps an arm of one before ripping it off and striking another with it. Within each second he feels as if he's becoming an animal.

Trenton's armored hands then shift into what resembles Beowolf hands. The more he clawed and tore into his past demons, the more the armor looked like a Beowolf. Once full formed, Trenton easily was getting through them. He grabs two Grimm and slam them through the floor, crushing them as the land. He charges on all fours towards his foes. He slashes, claws, and bites his way through them. Once down to the original six, Trenton bounces himself around the room multiple times as he finishes them off where they stand.

The house starts to disappear as Trenton charges through the wall, grabbing Cinder's face and slams her onto the ground. He then lifts her up before slamming her on his knee. An audible "crack" was heard with Cinder's scream of pain. He finishes the job by tearing her in half.

Salem: It appears I have underestimated you just a bit. The Grimm armor was destroyed a century ago, but it appears you've got your own crafted. There's hardly any reason for us to fight. This is primarily between Ozpin and I. However, if you join me, I can give you whatever it is you desire.
