It's been a few days since Trenton and Sarge have gotten Raven to join their cause. Qrow still wasn't happy that Trenton sought out his twin. What Trenton told him afterwards didn't help worth a damn. As of now, Trenton and Sarge are scoping out a familiar island. Patch to be exact. There was recently some activity that was going on here. Some troops have be attacked while patrolling the skies.
Trenton: This is it.
The two look around the crash site.
Sarge: I'm not seeing any bodies. Who or whatever took them out had to of been very precise.
Trenton sees what he means. A few bullet holes are shown in the glass, as well as some blood stains within the cockpit.
Sarge: Still pretty fresh. Let's continue searching.
Trenton: If I didn't know any better, I'd say those were sniper rounds.
Sarge: We only know a few snipers, one of which isn't on our side. Ruby.
The two search all around the crashed vehicle.
Trenton: Hey, I've something.
Sarge: What'd you find?
Trenton: It looks like black glass.
Sarge: Cinder was here too, then.
Trenton: They could still be around.
Sarge: Yeah, let's scout the nearby area.
They walk through the woods, trekking carefully. As they start to near the Rose/Xiao Long household, they look over their surroundings one last time.
Trenton/Sarge: I remember this place.
The two glance at one another.
Trenton: Jinx.
Sarge: Cringe.
Trenton: Bruh. Anyways, it looks as if someone else has been here.
The two stop in front of the busted down door.
Trenton: Ya know, I've only gotten my head smacked against this doorway 159 times.
Sarge: May I ask how that happened?
Trenton: Before heading to Beacon, Qrow had me stay here. Yang, Ruby, and I became good friends. Yang would constantly drag me inside and outside. Even if she carried me, my head still smacked against it. For about two fuckin' weeks.
Sarge: You alright?
Trenton: I'm fine, just a little fucked in the head.
They quietly enter the house, checking every corner of the living room. They hear a groaning sound and a dog's whimper. The quickly enter the kitchen where they see a wounded Tai lying on the floor with Zwei next to him.
Trenton: Tai!
Sarge: Shit.
They rush over to him, Sarge pulling out a med kit.
Tai: Trent, Sarge?
Trenton: Long story. What happened here?
Tai: It... it was Ruby. But it was like she was-
Sarge: Grimm.
Tai: Yeah. Then there was this other woman with her.
Trenton: Cinder.
Sarge finishes cleaning Tai's wounds.
Sarge: Chances are, they're still here.
Trenton: I'll check around.
