she grabs him by the shirt and walks away
"you guys have strange friends."
they sit down where Seungri and Eundong were sitting
"What are you two doing here?"
"We didn't have school today."
"Just came by to visit. I have to go back soon to the store."
"ahh."
"Hey Mingrui, I think you grabbed the wrong jacket last night. You might have grabbed her brother's jacket."
"Oh yeah. I've been meaning to give it to Li Fang."
he grabs his bag and pulls out a jacket. As he pulls it out, something fell out and onto the ground
"Oh, GouGou, you dropped something."
you picked it up and realized what the small hunk of plastic in your hand was
"you still have this?"
you hold up the plastic yellow phone
"I mean, you're holding it so i guess i still have it."
"i meant...why?"
"well...to see if the pink one ever rings."
you kind of scoff at amazement at how he kept such a small thing
"Loser..."
he snickers
"oh really? big fat jerk."
you smile at the memory
"Li Fang, keep eating."
"hm? oh. i'm actually kind of-"
Mingrui shoves his spoon full of food into your mouth
"you gotta force feed to skinny ones."
"Shut up!"
you wipe your mouth
"and thanks."
"yeah yeah don't talk with your mouth full."
he hands you a napkin. Mingrui saw Xinlong starr at him and he quickly put his hand back to him sides
"Hanyu, when you get home-"
"Make sure Gou Ji is clean and asleep and make sure the mini mart is closed up good. i know."
"What, I'm not home as much, someone has to do it."
"What about your siblings?"
"My sister is occupied with her job. And her brother tries his best, but he still has the store..."
"And my mom isn't getting any younger...my brother is too chicken to talk to his fucking wife..."
"Why don't you guys talk to her? I mean, Jia Bao, that's your sister."
