I woke up to find that I was still under the rock. I think I was asleep for a couple of hours considering that it's now night time. I decide to crawl out and check out my leg. It was doing ok considering the situation but it hurt like hell. I hope Nicholas gave up his search but part of me doubts it. I decided to walk back towards the direction of the road, maybe someone will pass by and I can hitchhike. I was almost to the edge of the road when I heard a car coming and soon followed headlights. My face lit up. I started to pick up the pace when all of a sudden a hand wrapped around my mouth and an arm around my neck. I was dragged behind a tree as the car passed by, I tried to scream through the hand but to no avail.

"Nice try Rider. Now if you don't want me to shoot you in the next 5 seconds I suggest that you stop struggling."

He took his arm off of me, grabbed his rifle and pressed it against my side. I immediately stopped moving.

"Now I'm going to take my hand off your mouth and you are not going to scream, right?" I nodded. He took his hand off and I took a deep breathe. "You know, you are so lucky that I had most of this planned, you see I had 4 replacement tires in the back of the car. So I replaced the ones that I shot."

He grabbed me by the arm and took me to the car. He opened the passenger side and helped me sit down. I hit my knee in the process which caused me to curse under my breath.

"Yah I'm going to have to take care of that, make sure it doesn't get infected."

Why is he acting like he cares, he's the one who shot me with an arrow. We started to head back to the house.

"You can talk during this car ride." Ok that was random. "I just wanted to say that I'm not letting you go. You did do an incredible job, you made me chase you even with a hurt leg. The thing I won't do is punish you, all day, I promise."

Oh thank god, I don't think I can't stand anything right now. "Thanks I guess... can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Why can't you let me go?" There was a long pause.

"Just because I don't want to, and I dont think I ever will. To be honest I thought I would kill you by now but you... entertain me."

"So seeing me in pain is your entertainment."

"I suppose so, and seeing you cry with those ocean blue eyes of yours."

I look over to see a sinister smile appear on his face. "Can I ask for a favor?"

"You're quite the chatty type but sure go on."

"Can I sleep in a bed, even if it's just for today?" He looked over at me, then my leg, then the road.

"Sure, it's not like you can go anywhere."

"Thanks."

We made it to his house, he grabbed me and guided me into the house. Rather than going to the basement, he led me to a room with a bed. I laid on it, my body sinking deeper into it with every breath. Nick left and came back with a first aid kit. I didn't think much of it until the psycho poured some alcohol on my knee. "Aarrggh... FUCK THAT HURTS!" I pushed the bottle away and held my leg as I was trying to catch my breath. I looked at Nick to see his expression, it was terrifying to say the least. His eyes wide, a big smile, and at the same time he was holding a needle that he was presumably going to use to seal my wound.

"I'm not sure if I should act like I didn't just hear you raise your voice which would be considered breaking rule number two."

Oh shit, I think he's pissed. "I-I... I didn't mean to, I'm sorry."

"Jesus Rider, now you're breaking rule number one. I'm starting to think you want me to hurt you."

He got up and started to get closer to me with the needle pointed at me. I backed up on the bed slowly until I hit the back of the wall. He then climbed on the bed and pinned me to the wall.

"You know, I'm starting to consider taking those eyes out with this needle."

I shook my head no. He started to raise the needle slowly getting closer to my left eye. I started to cry but then I remembered something. "You promised..." He stopped and looked at me with a confused expression. "Y-you promised that you wouldn't hurt me today, remember." He got off of me and put the needle away.

"You're right, I did promise." He walked to the door of the room and stopped. "I'll be back in a couple of hours to help you with your knee. Be careful, I might not be so forgiving if you screw up again."

With that said he left and closed the door behind him. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. His presence alone makes my body tense up, I decided that I should take a nap and so that's exactly what I did for the next few hours.

Well, I decided to give Rider a break, he's exhausted. Although even I'm slightly confused as to why Nicholas is acting so nice. Maybe he feels bad? Idk, but anyway hope you enjoy your day!
