"What is the difference between positive economic and normative economics, Mr. Arellano?"
Shit.
Applied Economics.
Pinaka-unang subject namin tuwing Thursday and Saturday.
Ugh. I really hate my schedule for this sem.
Pero teka, mabalik tayo. 'Bat parang nung pre-lim pa niya yun tinuro? Damn you.
Halatang pagod at puyat. I feel bad for him.
"Page 6 in the textbook. Kindly explain it for me." mahinahon na sabi ni Sir. Mukhang 'di talaga masasagot ni George yung tanong niya. Tinignan ko si Sir. 'Di naman siya galit. Probably, he understand us. Though, crush namin siya pero 'di namin pinapakita yun kasi we are aware that he's already married man and have his sons.
"The positive economics is an overview of what is happening in the economy that is far from what is ideal while normative economics focuses on policy formulation that will help to attain the ideal situation, Sir." Gerorge explained.
Maybe he just want to ask us just lift up the mood in our classroom.
Napangiti si Sir. Hays, kaya crush ko 'to eh.
"May I know who is Lee Kuan Yew and what is his contribution?"
Our prof just motioned him to answer while our other classmates having a nap.
Hah!
"Sir! Lee Kuan Yew is one of the prime minister of Singapore from 1959 to 1990. He was the longest-serving prime minister in world history. He has left behind a legacy of an efficiency run country and as a leader brought prosperity unhard before his tenure, at the cost of a middly authoritarian style of government and by imposing discipline among his people. Because of him, Singapore had a per capita income second only to Japan's in East Asia and the country had become a chief financial center of Southeast Asia." mahabang litanya niya.
