Dudley was next. He was white as a sheet and sweating bullets, he knew that what he had done to the boy he believed to be his cousin was wrong, but he was scared of having the same he had watched his parents do to Harry for year done to him. He had tried to help Harry as best as he could, in subtle ways, so his parents wouldn't know, but he tried.
"Dudley Dursley, you have helped make Damien's life as painful as possible, laughing at his pain and even causing it for recreation. What do you say to these accusations?" Time asked, looking down at the overweight child tied to the chair in front of the hall.
"I did, I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Dudley said, looking at the floor, tears in his eyes, having his actions told to his face made him feel even more guilt than he thought he could.
"You did wrong, terrible wrongs to Damien which only added to the trauma he experienced at the hands of your family." Fate said, looking down at Dudley coldly, before their face softened. "But you were, and still are, a child. You had yet to learn what you were doing was wrong, and you even admit that you were in the wrong. While there is nothing you can do to undo the past, you have suffered too. Your punishment will take these factors into account."
"Your punishment is that you will be turned back into a baby and sent to live with a family desperate for children but unable to have a child. If you end up as the same bully you have been towards Damien for all of his life, then you will face a more serious punishment. However, your new family will be kinder." Magic said, Dudley staying quiet, almost feeling as though he was getting off too lightly.
"Now wait just one moment!" Vernon bellowed, his face going red. "My son has never been treated poorly! And there is nothing wrong with him teaching a freak a lesson!"
Blaise's grip tightened around Damien's shoulder, pulling him closer as he felt Damien tense up as he got called a freak by the man he thought was his uncle for all of his life. He needed to know how badly his younger twin had been hurt, but he didn't want Damien to have to relive any of it.
"You're not going to give my child to people I disapprove of!" Petunia's sickly voice echoed around the room, making both Harry and Damien flinch, although Damien's was from fear and Harry's was just due to volume and pitch.
"Your opinion doesn't matter to this." Time said coldly, waving their hand over Dudley's head, a baby taking his place, looking back at Magic to take him to his new family, the baby sleeping soundly, making the Concepts smile down at him. When Magic waved their hand again, the tiny, sleeping baby disappeared, appearing at the door of a young gay wizard couple who were overjoyed to read the letter attached.
Fawkes entered the Great Hall after having explored the grounds for a little while, having been cooped up for the past 20 years at least. She landed gently on Damien's shoulder, starting to croon to the young boy. Damien's eyes started to droop as he started to listen to her song, he tried to shake off the tiredness, only for his head to droop onto Draco's shoulder shortly after. Fawkes shifting so she was perching on the table.
"He's asleep?" Blaise asked quietly, noticing how relaxed Damien was in his arms, as well as how he was leaning against Draco. He wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that, Damien was his brother, so why was he leaning on Draco?
"Looks like it." Draco whispered, not wanting to wake Damien up, this was definitely not something he wanted to listen to. "He looks fine though, so I don't think we need to take him to the Hospital Wing immediately."
"That's good, I need to know what happened to him, at least now he doesn't need to listen to all of it." Blaise whispered, Draco nodding in agreement, both of them tightening their grip on Damien, both trying to make sure he didn't accidentally hurt himself by moving in his sleep, and in a protective manor.
"Remus Lupin, you knew that Damien was a replacement for the real Harry Potter, and you saw that he was abused. However, you were unaware of Damien's origins, and you tried to take care of the child when you saw signs of abuse, but when you tried to report it to Dumbledore you mind was wiped of those memories for the year you were teaching in this school. And after they were altered again to make you forget the abuse." Fate said, looking down at the werewolf with mixed emotions, Remus looking at the ground with wide eyes, almost looking broken.
"Before you are punished for your crimes your memories will all be returned to you, so you can properly explain yourself." Magic said, waving their hand, Remus looking even more devastated than before.
"I- I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have gone to Dumbledore, I shouldn't have agreed to let anyone take Harry's place. Oh God what did I do?" Remus gasped quietly, still unable to look up as tears formed in his eyes. Regardless of Damien being a replacement for Harry or not he should have dome more to get his student out of such abuse.
"While you were somewhat separated from these crimes, you were still complacent in the kidnapping of a baby and the abuse he faced as a result. You failed in your duty as a teacher to properly make people aware of the circumstances he was under, and you only ever went to one person about your worries, and believed his excuses." Time explained Remus' crimes to him, who didn't argue, willing to accept any fate.
"Your punishment will be that you are only allowed minimal contact with the wizarding world and every time you fail to properly protect a child under your care your transformations will be more painful, however you will be unable to bite anyone from now on in." Fate said, looking down at Remus with slight contempt, while he made mistakes and didn't help Damien, it was cowardly of him to be almost trying to avoid all of this.
"What if he manages to protect all the children he can who need it?" Lily asked, as was shown by her position, she was worse than Remus, but he was still her friend, and she knew how much he was affected by the full moons.
"I don't see why he would need a reward other than the lack of punishment. His potions will work the same as usual, and the usual transformations will feel so much less painful than the punishment ones." Magic said, looking down at Lily.
Time waved their hand and the punishment was set, Remus no longer in his chair.
((A/N: Hey, I went through to edit this before I continued to make sure I was getting everything right, everything is mostly the same with just some grammar and word changes, but my opinion on Snape has changed/been solidified since I first wrote this so he is now involved when he wasn't before, please make sure you are up to date on the current version before you ask about inconsistencies that are just changes I have made. Sorry an update took so long.))
