chapter 12

I stood frozen, i couldn't run i couldn't even turn around to look at him.

After a few seconds of panicking he called my name again. I turned around but didn't say a word, he was stood a bit away but it was everyone else disappeared and i could only see him.

"Hey uh wow i don't know what to say" He said as he walked closer to me. "Uh.. me n-neither" I answered in almost a whisper. I felt like crying it was all too much.

My head started spinning and i felt like nothing was real until it all went black.

Emerson's pov

I caught Melanie as she fell to the ground. "FUCK SECURITY HELP" I screamed as i carried her towards the entrance to the venue.

Security helped me get her inside and i put her down on the couch.

I couldn't believe it was actually her right in front of me, she looked even more beautiful than the last time i saw her. All though we didn't keep in touch i could never quite get over her. I had a few girlfriends and one night stands but nothing that lasted or felt the same.

My current girl friend, Shy was nice but i'd always had some doubts about our relationship and if it was going to last.

I got pulled out of my day dreaming as Remington came up behind me and patted my shoulder. "The fans are freaking out just so you know, probably going to be some questions later" He said.

I nodded and walked away to get some water.
A few minutes pasted by of me drawing and rem looking at his phone before he spoke.

"I know you still love her, you don't look the same at Shy as you do Melanie." Rem said while still looking at his phone.

I just scoffed, "And how do you know that? I haven't seen her in forever and im with shy now" I knew he was right deep down but i wasn't quite ready to admit it to the world.

"I saw it in your eyes when you saw her, and i saw it in her eyes too. You and her had a bond i never quite understood and i don't think it ever dissolved." He said right as Sebastian entered the room.

"You guys ready to get this show on the road?" Sebastian smilied. "Yup, think about what i said drummer boy" Rem said and smirked.

I gave a half smile before i realized that i shouldn't leave Melanie alone in case she wakes up. "Uhm? We can't just leave her here" I pointed at the girl passed out on the couch.

"I'll get security to get her sister" Seb said and walked out the room.

We played the show, it was amazing so many fans and the energy was great but my thoughts kept wandering back to Melanie, maybe Rem was right. I felt the old spark come back as soon as i saw her beautiful eyes again, but i don't even know her anymore, i've changed so much since we moved and she probably has too she might even have a boyfriend now.

I got pulled out of my thoughts again as the last song ended, i threw my drum sticks at the crowd and walked off stage.

As i got to our dressing room i heard voices.

"What the fuck how did i get here?" Melanie sighed.

"You passed out when you saw Emerson" Her sister replied.

"Oh shit oh shit emerson oh fuck. I got the weirdest feeling as soon as i saw him"

"Bad or good?" Zoe replied
