David's POV:
Shocker:)

Me not being able to fall asleep is something I have never had to worry about. Sure, I stay up late at times, but when I actually want and/or need to sleep, it's never an issue. Except for tonight.
I guess the whole liking Elle yet also possibly liking Brooke at the same time was the issue. Since our first day of choreography, that was all I could think about. Elle was pretty, but she didn't have Brooke's personality. Elle was kind to me, yet she could be an ass to other people. Brooke on the other hand was nice to everyone.
When midnight came around I lost all hope that I was ever going to fall asleep tonight. Looks like I'm pulling an all nighter. Good thing we are getting off tomorrow. I decided I wanted some coffee so I went to the kitchen to go make some. Low and behold, Brooklyn was also making coffee.
     "Can't sleep Moscow?"

"I should be asking the same thing to you."

"Late night thoughts, what about you?"

I licked my lips, "Same here."

She poured the coffee into two mugs and handed me one. I greatly accepted the offer and sat down on the couch. Not to long after, she plopped down next to me. Brooke rested her hand on my shoulder and I laid my hand on top of hers. We used to do this all the time as kids. When Brooke was upset or just not having a good day, she would always rest her head on me. I enjoyed the moment quite honestly.
We both sipped our coffee quietly, not talking. Sometimes, that's all we did. No one needed to say anything because we knew the other's thoughts. Man, I loved this girls company.
When Brooke finally broke the silence, she lifted her head, sitting up. I looked at her as she did so. I noticed that she was only in sweats and a sports bra. Jeez, this girl was in shape.
"Thought for thought?"

"Okay, but you go first," I gestured.

"I think I like this boy, but I'm not 100% sure yet. We are already really good friends, but I don't want to ruin what we have," she explained. I knew she was leaving something out.

"Well, I like this girl, but I also like this other girl and I don't know what to do?"

"Why does liking someone have to be this complicated?"

"No one said it was ever going to be a piece a cake."

"Good point," she giggled. Good God, that giggle. Wait no, stop Dave.

We sat in silence for a little longer. Brooke just stared into her mug. Something was definitely bugging her.
"What is it?"

"You have abs," she laughed staring at my chest. Which is when I realized, I didn't have a shirt on, only grey sweats.

"You seemed surprised by this," I said moving closer.

"No it's weird. Like, we really grew up. We said we never wanted to but we couldn't stop it. Now look at us!"

"It's sad, isn't it. But hey, we stayed close the whole time. Even after I moved."

"Yeah," she said looking down but quickly looking back up. Her eyes were the prettiest shade of blue. I could stare at them forever if I really wanted to.

"You have gorgeous eyes," I accidentally blurted out.

"Nah I can't compete with you on that!"

"No, you win when it comes to nice eyes."

"Can you see okay?" I questioned pulling her onto my lap. She wrapped her hands around my head.

She took a moment to stare at them, "Yeah no, you win."

"Whatever you say Smalls."

We looked up at each other laughing. My hands held her thighs, making sure she wouldn't get away. Her hands dragged through my curls and a bit my lip a smidge. Thank God she didn't see me do that. I would have died honestly. Like my feelings for Elle.
