I had been avoiding David as much as I could. That was easier said than done considering we lived together. When I wasn't at rehearsal, I would either hang out with Reese, find an empty studio and dance, hang out with the boys, or just stay locked up in my room. He tried to talk to me, but I didn't want to talk. I wasn't ready for that just yet.
After what felt like ages, rehearsal was finally over. The set was completed so we would run through the movie on set for a little bit and than actually film it. We moved into our trailers not too long after the news broke.
On our forth day on set, we all had gotten used to everything. I was sitting in my trailer one morning, waiting for everyone else to get here. It was quite early so I was one of the only people there. I heard a knock on my door and it opened revealing Christian.
"Oh thank god I'm not the only one here anymore," I breathed.

"I saw your lights on so I figured I'd find you here," he said. He came in and sat down on the counter.
I don't think that makes much sense and I also don't know the layout of everyone's trailer so just go with it XD.
"How are things between you David going?"

"Not good. I don't want to talk to him right now. I probably should stop giving him the silent treatment because he didn't cheat on me. What he did still hurts because he played me if you what to put it that."

"I guess you could say so. You know, pretty much all of us have been rooting for you two. I don't think there is a single person in the cast that thinks David should be with Elle over you."

     "Why do you think that?"

"For starters, you two know each other better than anyone else in the world does. You have known each other since you were five. Plus, he would talk about what a great girl you are. I think he's liked you for a long time but hasn't figured it out yet."
I didn't speak. I kept replaying the last thing he said over in my mind. There was a possibility that that was the case here. We have always flirted with each after all. I just wanted to know when those feelings for me went away, if they were even there to began with.
Another knock came from my trailer, only this time it was Peggy.
"Brooke, Kenny needs you on set," she informed.

"Okay, tell him I'm on my way," I said, "Don't worry we can finish this conversation when I get back." I smiled at Christian and left.

A time skip, no way!! I haven't done one of these in forever.

When I got to the main set Kenny was waiting for me with David. Great, Kenny's gonna give me a lecture about how I need to stop being childish and discuss my problems with Davey.
"Brooke, don't worry you are not in trouble. We just wanted to go over some things with the two of you regarding your characters."
Oh so I was wrong. "Okay," I said.

"Well I was thinking, Ellie and David both become very close as the story progresses. So to spice things up a bit, we have decided to make your two characters love interests."
Oh shit, you have got to be kidding me right now. I looked at David and I could tell he was just as unhappy as I was about this. There is no way Kenny just made that move.
"Kenny are you sure this is good idea. I mean you said it yourself our characters get close to one another, but do you think they get close enough to fall for each other?" David questioned.

"What are you scared to kiss me David? I mean from what I hear you can work wonders," I added rolling my eyes.
Brooke hun, don't get me wrong I love you, but now is not the time my love.
David didn't say anything except looked down at his feet.
"I'll let you two work this out by yourselves," Kenny said, walking away.

When he was gone, David spoke up saying, "Really Brooklyn? In front of our director!!"

"I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean if you're gonna hook up with someone at a party you might as well shut the god damn door, never mind lock it."

"Elle walked in and forgot to shut it so if you're gonna blame it on someone, blame it on her."

"Right, so I should also blame her for you leading me on? You made me feel like there was something between us. Like we could be more than friends. Man, they were right when they said fame could change someone."
With that I walked away, not even bothering to look back. I didn't need to see his face to know he was pissed. I could care less though. He did this to himself. He got himself into this mess.
When I got back to my trailer, Christian was still there waiting for me. I walked in and he jumped up.
     "What was that all about?"

"Nothing important, don't worry." I said, sitting down next to him.

"You look like you just talked some sense into someone," God, he was good at reading people.

"It's not the end of the world, but it sure does feel like it!"

I feel so bad trashing David like that honestly. My husband doesn't need that type of abuse. At the same time, if someone did that to me, I would do the same thing. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter because it was one of my favorites.
