The shinsegumi have been quite peaceful lately." why does it have to be so hot." I said wiping of my brow.

"it's not too bad I guess."

"I guess so I wonder who's cooking today for dinner."

A wisp of familiar wind blew the pony of Chizuru's hair. I could just about feel their."Chizuru get behind me." I tried reaching for my sword but remeberd I'd left it in my room.

His mocking voice came from the  trees."They're making you do grunt work huh." he shouted from the cheers before jumping down to land on a rock his red eyes trained on me." Yow with the blood of devil's in your veins doing the humans bidding."

"what do you want."

"Don't worry I didn't come to fight. Do you know the western doctor practice Kodo San." I looked back at Chizuru her eyebrow knit together.

"Kodo Yukimura is my father where is he." I kept him back as to stop her from getting any closer.

His smile became wider and he mumbled. " I understand."

"What the hell is it that you-"

"Sneaking alone onto enemy territory how foolish."
I turned my head, there was Hijikata San's tall frame.

Another voice came at his other side." Take it from me it's a bit to early to try to chatting up women." Harada San said his spear pointing at the blonde.  Heisuke came in fromt me and Chizuru his hand on his sword.

" you have some bad karma coming your way for what you did for y/n chan."

The three of them were poised  to attack ."You dogs really do roam in a pack."
Hijikata San was slipping his blade out of its halter with a look of rage in his eye.
"if you want to play normally I'd be happy to be oblige but I'm only here in business."
Kazama had gotten ready to leave with it before he did." Another thing stop turning mere humans into devils frankly it's an insult."

"Some creeper who would try to aduct two girls in broad day light had no business making demands."

Kazama's eyes narrowed on the man with the spear poised to attack in his hand and to Hijikata San." I was trying to show you people mercy but looks as if you don't want it. "

" This is our Territory get the hell out of here jack ass. "

He laughed at Heisuke's demands." Kodo San, is on our side. Meaning he is against your newly made allies you might want to rethink where your royalties lie. " with that he turned and vanished.

My heart started to beat more and more out of my chest. I held Chizuru's hand and she took mine tightly.

" Don't worry he could've just been pulling that out of his ass."
" There's no garauntee what he was saying is true."

"we have inspectors out there looking for Kodo San we'll up something eventually."

But somehow even with our friends words of encouragement I couldn't help the shaking feeling of there was atleast some truth to the devil's words.
