Jo went easy on her. She totally knew that. But honestly, she was exhausted like hell. After training for five hours she immediately took a shower and head to the dining room to have dinner. If she had to manage another minute without food she was so sure she'd die of starvation. Courtney and Fred already saved her a seat. They saw her and waved at her. It's good to have a friend, but at that moment she was too exhausted to be enthusiast about it.

She sat down next to them and buried her head on the table. She did not even touch her food first. She grunted heavily which made Courtney laughed.

"You okay there, Trish?" she asked.

"Yep, totally okay, my muscles are not sore and my back doesn't hurt. I'm perfectly fine." She replied sarcastically while still facing the table.

"Oh, right. This is your first day of training right? How was it?" Fred asked her.

"Can't you guess?" she said and finally raised her head.

Fred and Courtney laughed at her. Trisha started to eat her food. She was suddenly reminded by the blonde guy in the arena.

"Though I did see a cute guy staring at me at the arena earlier." She said.

Courtney's ears perked up. She loved these kinds of things; gossips and boys and all those things. The girl quickly started her interrogation on her, asking her what the guy looked like and a bunch of things.

"Are you serious? What's he like?" she grinned.

"Um... really cute, nice dirty blonde hair, cute." she replied.

"You do realize you said cute twice, right?" Fred frowned.

"Yeah, definitely." Trisha replied.

He seemed to stop chewing for a few moments before saying, "You girls and your weird girl terms."

Trisha and Courtney just shrugged and continued talking to each other.

"Did you approach him?"

"No, why would I?" she stated.

"Oh, well you did say he was cute, which is actually a good reason as to why I asked did you approach him."

Trisha sighed heavily and played with her food before saying, "Whatever, I don't really have time to think about boys anyway."

Things went well in REX. It had been almost a month since she arrived and so far she could do basic combats and shoot guns. She made friends with some of the girls Courtney introduced to her and Fred has been a great friend too. But she couldn't help but worry about Rosa. The last report from the extraction team was three days ago. No one heard from them since.

Did something happen? Did they manage to even get there? Did they get to Rosa? Were they caught? Did they crash? Honestly, it was getting to her so much that she decided she didn't even want eat dinner that night. She just went straight to bed after she took a shower. Courtney did approach her to ask her if she was okay. She just said she was tired and told her she'd be fine. But honestly, she won't, at least not until she hears from the extraction team.

She lied in bed in the dark. She couldn't even close her eyes without getting images of things that might have happened to the extraction team and to Rosa. She started to force herself to sleep when she heard the blaring siren. She was told what the sirens meant. It meant chronic medical emergency. Hearing it made her rush to the hospital to see what it was.

She ran all the way from her room to the lift and pressed the button to the surface level. She felt like the lift was moving to slow. When the door opened she quickly ran straight for the emergency. She was literally sprinting. Rosa could be there and she wanted to see her as fast as she could.

When she got there, Fred was already there. He stood outside the emergency, staring through the glass windows. He seemed worried sick. She went next to him panting from sprinting all the way there. He didn't seem to notice she had appeared beside him. Okay, now she's getting worried.

"Rosa?" she asked hopefully.

Fred turned to her and sighed. He then shook his head sadly.

"What the hell is going on?" she asked confused.

"The extraction team came back." He replied. His voice was so low that it was almost inaudible.

"And?" she urged him to continue explaining the situation.

"They almost got there. But they were caught and held by S.C.A.R.S agents."

She stayed quiet for a moment. Not exactly wanting to know what happened. But she felt the urge to ask.

"How did they escape?"

"They didn't. They let them go. They were tortured. A message was written down on their skin. The scars are causing a major infection. Their condition is crisis."

"Wait, hold on a minute, a message written on their skin? You mean carved to their flesh? Like scars? What message?" she asked starting to get more terrified.

Fred looked at her and hesitated to answer. She looked back expectantly. Could it be so bad that he hesitated saying it?

"Get inside. See for yourself."

Trisha nodded and pushed through the glass door. She approached one of the patients and stumbled back when she saw the writing carved on their wrist. The scars were still gushing red and it scared her to death. She put a hand over her mouth, terrified at what was about to happen. She ran out of the emergency and broke down next to Fred. She has got to get to Rosa before they could do anything to her or to any of the humans trapped in that facility.

Trisha felt Fred drag her back to her room. Hot tears streamed down her face and her vision was blurry. She kept thinking about the horrible things that could happen, the sentence written flashed through her mind over and over.
