Two Iced Coffees

Louis' p.o.v.

Eleanor and I met up after school at my car waiting for the rest of the boys. She leaned against my car and I put my hand on her waist and smiled softly at her. We've been together for two years and everything was so comfortable. I liked things being comfortable, but I knew I was risking that all. My smile dropped just thinking about which concerned Eleanor. She brought a hand up to my face and ran her thumb across my cheek to bring me some comfort.

"Louis, what's up love? You've been acting a little off lately." Her question brought up quite the debate for me. Do I tell her I'm questioning? Do I tell her about Harry? That I don't know how I feel and what I want? Or do I just play it safe?

"Sorry, I've just been tired and stressed about college apps," I smiled at her playing it safe. "But you and I are gonna have a wonderful study date and for that time my college apps won't matter." I kissed her softly and she smiled.

"Good. You stress yourself out too much." She giggled a little and the boys arrived. I opened her door for her and she got in thanking me.

"Took you all long enough." I joked with the lads.

They all got into the car and I began dropping them off. We all lived in the same neighbourhood so it didn't take long before I had dropped them all off. El and I had arrived at the coffee shop and went to our usual table that had two seats in the back corner.

"Your usual love?" I asked.

"Yes please," she smiled at me and proceeded to try and get her wallet out. I chuckled a little at her.

"I'm paying." I told her and walked up to the front ordering her usual caramel macchiato and just some iced black coffee for me. I quickly paid and waited for the coffee. I scrolled on my instagram to find Harry had followed me. I smiled a little to myself. His profile was strictly his paintings and had a small following. I quickly followed him back before I heard the barista call out my name for my order. I smiled thanking them. I brought the coffee over to Eleanor handing her her coffee.

"Thank you love!" She kissed my cheek sweetly. "Just to let you know my dads gonna pick me up around 5:30-6 because we have a big family dinner I forgot about so you don't have to worry about taking me home."

"Sounds good. Thank you for telling me. Shall we get to it?" She nodded in response and we started working.

We spent about two hours in the coffee shop going over her science homework. She was really right when she said she needed help and I'm glad I could give it to her. Her dad had arrived as we finished so we started our goodbyes. We stood up and embraced each other in a warm hug.

"Thank you so much for all the help Louis! You're a life saver!" She smiled sweetly before kissing my cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow, yea?" I nodded.

"As always. Goodbye love." We gave each other a goodbye kiss and then she left.

I decided that since all my school work was already here and spread out that I'd just finish what I needed to before going home. I sat and worked for two hours before I noticed I was out of coffee and wanted more. I got up looking at the time. It's 8 at night so I still had at least an hour before they closed which was good. I walked up to counter and ordered another large iced coffee and a sandwich since I was hungry. I grab my wallet to pay before someone behind me speaks.

"Make that two large iced coffees, I'd like to pay for him please." The voice was quite deep yet so gentle. How kind of this person. I turned around and began to thank him.
