Addison’s POV:
We were all hanging out at the hype house. It’s the hype houses annual Halloween party, everyone is drinking, talking, dancing or making out by the pool. Things had just gotten back to normal between Dixie and i. Yeah I know we fought like 5 months ago but you could still sense the trust issues between us. I really don’t want to lose her she my best friend, my unpaid therapist, my ride or die, my day one, she’s my EVERYTHING. Dixie and I are sitting on the pool table when Bryant comes up to us “heyy my favourite duo” I smile at the word duo I don’t know why but I just did “hey Bryant” we both said in sync “Whatcha need?” Dixie asks “uhmm I was wondering if I could steal you for a quick second to take a few pictures with your sister?” she nods and tells me she’ll be right back. As she walks away I can’t help but check her out she so- ADDISON STOP SHES YOUR BESTFRIEND AND YOUR STRaight…yeah straight as a circle. I’ll be lying if I told you that I didn’t like maybe have a crush on her, ever since our fight I just realised how much I need her in more ways than one.
Dixie’s POV:
As I’m taking pictures with Charli I can’t help to think about Addison like SHES SO FUCKEN HOT!!!! Yeah, yeah I know she’s my best friend and she’s straight I know the whole story, but it’s just that i really like her…like really really like her. I’ve liked her since the day we met I’m just surprised that I was able to supress my feelings for her for so long. I tried getting over her I really did I actually wanted us to fight cause I thought that maybe that would make me lose feelings for her that’s why I made such a big deal about everything but it just made me want her more. “EARTH TO DICKSEA!!!” I hear Charli say I push her slightly by the heart of the name, I don’t know people just started calling me that for some shity ass reason “WHAT?” I say a bit too loud for her liking “Goodness chile I just wanted to tell you that we finished you can leave now” *silence* “hey what were you thinking about?” I was caught off guard by the second question…I can’t tell my sister I’m crushing on her best friend she’d kill me “nothing, I have to go bye” I run off without looking back. I walk up to Addison seeing that she never left her spot she smiled when she saw me. “Dixie your done” I just laugh I have to make a move before the night ends what’s the worst- my thoughts were cut off when all the lights went out I guess the electricity tripped. Everyone started to move towards the pool for light, Addison and I stayed in our places. I then heard the door shut I should do something now, right…hear goes nothing…”Addi” I can barely see her but I know we’re facing each other “Yeah dix?” hear goes, I pulled her close and bent down to her ear “I have loved you since we were 18” my boldness took over “Dixie I-“ I cut her off “shhh don’t spoil the moment” I say pulling away from her ear and slowly placing my lips against hers. To my surprise she actually kissed me back she wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed my hands on her hips pulling her in to deepen the kiss it was everything I’ve ever dreamt of
