Vic's pov

."Vic cmon we got to GO!!" She shouted standing up from the nice picturesque spot in the garden we had claimed. Her hair was all messed up from rubbing her tear streaked face into my dark shirt.
"Ok let's go." I replied. I didn't hesitate I knew how heartbroken she was. I'm afraid that she is going to beat herself up about this, when it's not her fault
It would have happened regardless. We ran from the garden back up to the old cottage house and burst in the front door. Her brother was sat in the kitchen, drinking some juice. He took one look at y/n upset, and assumed I was the one who had caused it.
"Y/n?" He stood up angrily from his chair and started walking towards me. Y/n only continued to cry softly.
"No wait WAIT ZACH ITS NOT HIM" she shouted as she ran over to him trying to pull him away from me.He was right up in my face. I'd never been that tall, and he was about 6 ft so I was pretty intimidated.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE NOW VIC?!" he shouted menacingly right in my face.
"Are you actually mad. Listen to your sister she is trying to tell you something" I tried to keeps him calm as he clearly misunderstood the situation. Yet he refused to listen to what she was trying to say, and instead gripped my arm as tight as he could and threw me down onto the kitchen floor."I know what you did to her last week. She told me. SO GET AWAY FROM HER BECAUSE IF YOU EVER HURT HER AGAIN YOURE GONNA END UP DEAD" I heard him shout. I my head was ringing from where I hit the hard tiled flooring. I didn't want to have to go through this whole situation again but here we were. I layed there for a good 10 seconds on the kitchen floor my head throbbing. I remembered what it was like In my previous school, the constant beating up and harassment. You would think by now I would be good at defending myself against these things.
Slowly, I regained my sense of stability and stood back up. I saw y/n standing Infront of Zach shouting on her tiptoes getting up in his face.
"ZACH, what the FUCK is wrong with you... He didn't do anything!!! Aziel's in the hospital and I'm upset we are on our way to meet him. AND YOU JUST THREW VIC ON THE GROUND. You know what... Now how can you blame Vic. You know how he feels about his brother?!" She shouted. Zach just looked away as if defeated. Then y/n turned back to see me leaning on the kitchen counter."OMG Vic Vic?! Are you ok?!" She said running up to me and holding out both my hands in hers examining them for bruises or scrapes. I nodded to let her know I was fine.
"Oh thank god... Ok right we still need to go to see Aziel though?!" She asked me concerned.
"It's ok I'll still come" I said exhausted. A look of relief washed over her, and she gave me a quick hug before I heard y/ns mum shout down.
"WHATS GOING ON DOWN THERE?!" I could hear the sound of her feet quickly running down the stairs.I grabbed y/ns hand and ran back outside and went to hide in the garage. As we hid there we could hear the arguments of Zach and his mum in the kitchen. It was very muffled so the conversation got lost.
"I don't think we are gonna get a ride to the hospital are we..." I said anxiously I didn't want to break the news to her.
"Nope doesn't seem it." She replied. We were hiding behind a small step ladder and a workbench which was covered in dust and different parts. It smelled dusty and old but it was somehow nice. It was dark and the electric barely worked but the light came through a small window situated just to my right.I looked around a bit more, just trying to quickly think of a smart way to leave the house without getting caught, when I spotted two rubber wheels pressed up against eachother.
"Y/n we can just use the bikes to go to the hospital to see Aziel... I know it's like 6miles away but it shouldn't take too long, it's flat road almost all the way." I suggested.
"Those are my parents bikes I still need to buy one... Hopefully we can fit on them" she replied.
Slowly we crawled out from out hiding place and cautiously took down the bikes from a rack which they were hanging on, on a wall. We both took and end of the bike to carefully lift down and place on the ground. I took her dad's bike and she took her mum's. The seat was a tiny bit high so I lowered it as quickly as I could.
We opened the garage door which was so noisy but we pushed the bikes though and hopped on as fast as we could. Leaving the door of the garage wide open. I began to pedal the down the street and into the main road checking behind me every minute or so to check that y/n hadn't fallen behind.
"I don't think they noticed we even left" She said to me cycling up right next to me. We took a turn down a small secluded road.
"I don't think they did ... Even so it won't be long until they do" I said in a concerned tone.
"It's inevitable, but my main focus is making sure Aziel is ok" she said sternly.
"Oh for sure." The sun was still blazing hot and we weren't wearing any helmets, we didn't have time to put them on.My head and whole body was sweating profusely. So much was going on through my mind right now I wasn't quite sure how to process it. I could feel a minor headache coming along, probably caused by being thrown into the ground, or the sunlight. But as we rode down the lanes, the rushing wind felt cool on my chest and neck which was really nice.
Along the whole ride we barely spoke. We both knew we had a lot going on in out heads and a lot to think about. So much we had both been through together and we had only known eachother for a few weeks. We passed some old run down buildings and almost got ran over by some cars a few times but even then we were focused on getting to the hospital as fast as possible.

We made it. The building was tall and new. We cycled right into the car park and leaned out bikes against a small pole. I awkwardly hopped off and so did y/n.
"Do you know what ward he is in?" I asked out of breath from l the cycling. "Uh... No i don't have my phone either... I'll just ask around." She said breathing heavily.
We lightly jogged into the entrance of the visitors section of the hospital but we had to slow down as we were exhausted. There was a waiting place filled with people. I wondered why they were waiting for they each had a specific reason to be here. I felt emotional as we got closer to the front desk of the waiting room. But I made sure I didn't show it.
I followed y/n as she slowly approached the woman at the desk.
"Excuse me?"y/n said
"Hey lovely, can I help you?" She asked in the sweetest tone. She looked around 30 and had the most beautiful dark hair and skin."Well my friend Aziel Davis was brought here early last night i think, we were allowed to visit but we don't know what ward he is in" y/n asked politely, whilst she drummed her fingers anxiously on the desk.
The woman typed away on her computer, and after about 5minutes if waiting around we finally got some directions of where to go. We thanked her and made our way down.
There was a small vending machine. Which was situated just a couple doors down from Aziel's room.
"Wait y/n, should we get him some food or some water?" I asked
"Uh. He is probably on a strict diet or something... But I mean I guess it couldn't hurt." She said slightly doubting me. Reaching down into my pocket I realised there was only a guitar pic and a couple pennies. It was just enough for one bag of salt an vinegar crisps so that's what we went for.Neither me or y/n had eaten lunch, the crisps looked very appetising but I'm sure Az would appreciate them more than we would.

Both of us stood outside his door. We had no clue what state he was in. For all we know he could be in a coma. Moments like this were the most terrifying. You can never tell how bad the next few minutes of your life are going to turn out, you have no idea how much things are going to change. You just have to take the risk and hope for the best but expect the worse.
Me and y/n looked at eachother anxiously.
"I hope he is ok..." She said
"Me too, me too." I reached down and squeezed her hand for a second, she looked tired and yet also terrified.
"Cmon then" I placed my hand onto the door handle and we both stepped inside.
