I softly felt myself regain consciousness. Every morning I would usually sit and stare at my celling, thinking about how much I didn't want to be awake. I would usually just sleep in as late as I possible could so I had 'less day' to be awake in. As I once again forced my eyes open I was greeted by an unfamiliar celling. For a second I got terrified wondering where I was...then I remembered I was at Vic's house. The roof looked old, not cracked, but it was white stone, it looked gritty to the touch.

What time was it?

I went to go reach for my phone which was supposed to be next to me but then I realised I was lying in his bed. The sheets felt soft and comfortable around my feet. I could have sworn I didn't go to sleep in his bed... I would have felt uncomfortable doing that. But now I'm here it was nice and warm I felt otherwise. I lied there for a good five minutes just breathing and realising that It wasn't a school day, and that I was with my new found friends so today wouldn't be bad. I looked at the old fashioned window in his room. The sun shone through in a way that made the dust almost sparkle it was so still...

As I started to move and gently push the duvet off of my legs I heard a small voice.
"You think she is awake yet Jaime?" Vic whispered.
"I'm not sure dude?" I heard Jaime reply in a sarcastic tone. "You sure do ask a lot of questions."

I had completely forgot that they would also be in the room with me oops...I continued to eavesdrop onto what they were saying.
"Whelp I'm going to go check the time and see if she is up yet" I think it was Vic that as talking. Quickly, I lay back down in the bed and pretended to be asleep. Can't have them know I was listening to them the whole time.
"Bro she is still wrapped in your red blanket" Jaime's whispered. I could tell they were both looking at me so I tried to force back a smile, I was finding this rather amusing.

"I think we should let her sleep" Vic stated.
"Look at the time though it's 9am" Jaime added
"Ok but who the hell wakes up at 9am on a Sunday... I certainly don't, my parents have to work on Sundays anwyays so it's not like they are going to be here to wake her up?" His voice gradually got louder than a whisper so I began to take this as my opportunity to pretend to wake up.

"Nice one vic, you woke up your sleeping beauty" I stretched my legs and began to feel my body fill with life again.
"How you doing? You exhausted yourself dancing last night" oh yeah now I remember I was being a complete idiot.
"I'm fine but I'm hungry" I said in a grumpy tone.

I stood up and walked around the edge of the bed where I spotted their blow up matress.
"You guys... Where are your blankets?"

"Oh we didn't have any left because you were sleeping with the duvet and my spare" Vic said awkwardly.
"You're kidding... I was sleeping on the floor when I fell asleep you could have taken the bed!!" I said

"See Vic... That's what I said, we could have just left her" Jaime chimed in once again.
"Gee thanks Jaime," I said.

We began walking down town because I wanted food and we all agreed buying some would be better than making our own. I was wearing the same outfit as yesterday because I wasn't expecting to sleep over when I first chose this outfit.

Because our town was reasonably small there weren't many people around. The building were old fashioned and made of granite. It almost could have been situated in somewhere like Italy. It's great living in a coastal village, there are loads of chip shops and honestly I hadn't eaten anything that day so chips was perfect. Most of us got chips while a few of them bought some sandwiches from the local corner store. The chips I had were very very oily but honestly i didn't mind that's what made them taste the best.
