Chapter 8: Poole meets Mr. Hyde

Dr. Jekyll's pov

I woke up to see my room was really a mess I rub my head because I felt lightheaded and then there's a creaking sound of the door and it revealed Poole, I sit up from my bed and put my hand on my forehead and ask him:

Dr. Jekyll: " Poole... w-what happened last night? "

Poole: " well, sir this is very complicated to explain but I'll try my best "

Flashbacks ( still Dr. Jekyll's pov )

I went downstairs after a fight with Hyde, I saw Poole cleaning the table at the living room looks like he just work so hard today maybe the two of us needed a break from our problems today

Dr. Jekyll: " I think that's enough for today, Poole "

Poole: " o-ok sir "

Dr. Jekyll: " do you want a tea I could make some? "

Poole: " that'll be delighted "

We walk on the kitchen we make some tea then went to the living room and lit up the fire on the fireplace

We sat up on the couch we drink our tea silently but I still couldn't get the feeling that Hyde will control my body, I look at Poole who is drinking a tea I sigh and said:

Dr. Jekyll: " Poole? "

Poole: " yes sir "

Dr. Jekyll: " there's something that I need to tell you about "

Poole: " what is it? "

Drl. Jekyll: " since I've been researching have to split the two entitys of mankind good and evil but the board of govenors disagree of my idea so J had no choice but to use myself as the test subject of the experiment but it made a new persona within me Mr. Hyde "

I look at Poole with a worried and horrified look on his face but he shrugged it off the look on his face and ask me:

Poole: " when excatly does he appear? "

Dr. Jekyll: " sometimes at day, afternoon, and at dawn but he usually appear at- "

I cut my sentence when I felt a sharp on chest I held it that makes the cup that I've been holding fall and broke, Poole stands from his sit and went up to me

Dr. Jekyll: " *groan* Poole, w-we got to-to go i-in m-my r-r-room "

Poole noded helping me to get on my room we slam the door I fell onto the floor but I quickly grab a chair and Poole grab a rope on the drawer I sat down on the chair trying to control Hyde from coming out

Poole tie me so hard on a chair

Dr. Jekyll: " *groan* P-Poole take the k-keys a-and ge-get out of-of h-here "

Poole grab the keys close the door then lock the door. I could feel my bones were cracking making me scream in agony, I kept shaking my head which take off my glasses that was on the ground and everything turn black

Poole's pov

I was on the door leaning and listening to my master's screaming at his lungs I grip the keys that my master told me too, then the screaming stops I went towards the door and at hands shaking I unlock the door and see that some differents from him

His hair is very dark and long too, he's a bit more mascular but his hands and arms were black, his fingers were sharper and covered with this black color that he had, but for the most part his skin is pale as white

I gulp deeply and ask him:

Poole: " D-Dr. Jekyll, are alright now? "

He look up and to my horror it wasn't Dr. Jekyll anymore it is Mr. Hyde himself

Mr. Hyde: " oh... hello there Poole "

Poole: " M-Mr. Hyde where's D-Dr. Jekyll? "

Mr. Hyde: " he's just sleeping on my mind, now, I wanted you to untie me "

Poole: " n-never "

Mr. Hyde: " *sigh* guess you pick the wrong choice there "

Mr. Hyde then broke the rope then push me out of his room then close the door I demanded him to let me in but I heard a glass breaking I quickly opened the door and to my shocking face he broke the window

Mr. Hyde's pov

Finally I'm free! I jump roof to roof to get at Izzy's place to send her a letter I went to this mansion that Izzy is living I spotred two guards patroling the outside of the mansion I grinned because I already know what to do

I went down quietly I make some noise to make them hear it which it did I killed those gaurds and went up to find Izzy sleeping peacefully I went to her window quietly so that way she won't wake up I placed the letter on her table that was next to her bed I smiled so evilly and whisper to her:

Mr. Hyde: " I'll see you there, darling~ "

End flashbacks

Dr. Jekyll's pov

After hearing the explanation from Poole I began to get worried about Izzy's safety but I have to visit her now

Dr. Jekyll: " Poole, your in charge for a moment I have to visit Izzy right now "
