Chapter 10: At the ball

Narrator's pov

Today is May 22, Izzy has been getting dressed and get ready for the masquarade ball after school she already prepared the dress that she bought and a mask that Ms. Agatha gave her wih the help or Ms. Agatha, Nicole, and Ube she was beautiful

Izzy look into the mirror and she blushed at her reflection until they heard a knock on the door it revealed Mr. Randy with a wide smile on his face

Mr. Randy: " umm... Ms. Izzy, the good doctor has arrived and he is waiting for you at the living room "

Izzy: " please tell me that I'll be there "

Mr. Randy noded then close the door, Izzy takes a deep breath then exits her room, when she arrived at the living room she saw Dr. Jekyll in a tuxedo and a black and white mask on his face he saw Izzy and he blushed a little when he saw her and Professor Charles notice it

Professor Charles: " heh, looks like your lady is here "

Izzy went closer and ask him:

Izzy: " so... you ready? "

Dr. Jekyll noded his head in agreement some of Izzy's classmates and teacher were sqeuling and fangirling at the two which makes Professor Charles annoyed alot so he cut the screaming around them

Professor Charles: " you two better head on you don't wanna be late "

Izzy: " oh r-right... we'll be careful "

Professor Charles: " and Jekyll, please... protect her "

Dr. Jekyll: " I will, Professor "

Izzy and Dr. Jekyll exit the mansion, they went to a carrige the ride was so silent, an akward silent but they arrived to there destination they both got out of the carrige to Izzy's surprise there so many people

Dr. Jekyll: " don't worry, I'll hold your hand just in case if you get lost "

Izzy smiled at him, he hold her then enter the place was filled with formality and jewelry now Izzy has been taught how to be polite and formal but this place will give her a bad time alot

???: " Henry! Long time no see! "

They both turn to the direction of a man who is at age of 40 years old and had a beard already but Izzy could notice that there's a little bit of white hair on him Izzy don't even recognize this person but Dr. Jekyll went up to the man gave him a shake hand with a cheerful smile on his face

Dr. Jekyll: " good to see you too, Dr. Lanyon "

This person whom he called 'Dr. Lanyon' turn his attention to Izzy and gave her a confusion look, Dr. Lanyon point Izzy to Dr. Jekyll which he already answered his question:

Dr. Jekyll: " Dr. Lanyon, this Izzy, Izzy Angelica and Izzy this is Dr. Lanyon, Dr. Hastie Lanyon "

Izzy: " good evening, Dr. Lanyon "

Dr. Lanyon: " good evening too looks like you invited a woman of your's here "

Dr. Jekyll blushed and pushed him away and said:

Dr. Jekyll: " Dr. Lanyon, she's just a friend and a student from Professor Charles school "

???: " there you are! "

Izzy turn her attention to another man who is age of 29 years old he already has mustache and wearing a glasses instead of the mask

Dr. Jekyll: " good evening Mr. Utterson and this is Izzy if you are wondering who she is "
