Chapter 13: Izzy's birthday

Narrator's pov

Today it was June 4 and it is Izzy's birthday she remembers the letter that she sent from to Dr. Jekyll, so, she grab her bag and exit her room and exit the mansion since she graduated from college and it was summer for them all Izzy could do now is find a job to be a teacher to a school and now there are students who graduated are getting out of the mansion and stayed on an apartment complex

She went to the park to see some people are playing some kates, playing toys, and etc. She sat one of the benches and see the view of people having fun but according to her letter that she'll meet Dr. Jekyll on a park so that's why she's here

A seconds turn into miniutes, and miniutes turn into hours and she started to think that maybe he's busy or Craige didn't send him the letter

She sigh in defeat and decided to go at the book shop and buy a book as a gift, but when she stands up and walk away she felt someone touch her arm she turn around to see Dr. Jekyll with a sweet smile on his face, Izzy's frown faded away to form a smile

Dr. Jekyll: " *smiles* forgive me, Ms. Izzy... sorry that I'm late you thought that I forgot your birthday? "

Izzy: " I thought your busy or Craige didn't send my letter to you "

Dr. Jekyll: " come with me, there's a place that always wanted to go when trouble comes back then "

Dr. Jekyll hold her hand and start leading her to some where that he knows. They went in the forest which make Izzy so confuse why are they on the forest they might get lost on a forest and never come back but she spotted a road but not just any road a road to lead something

Izzy: " why are we here? "

Dr. Jekyll: " you'll see "

They kept on walking this road and arrive to a glass printed door that was colorful and beautiful at the same time, Dr. Jekyll open the golden door knob to enter and to Izzy's shock and suprise it was a beautiful forest the leaves are pink, the flowers were color and there's no pollution not even one

Dr. Jekyll saw her expression and he knew that her face will be priceless

Dr. Jekyll: " do you like it? "

Izzy: " like it? No, I LOVE IT! "

Dr. Jekyll giggled, they found a spot where they can sit after a long walk on the forest lately, they talk and talk and kept laughing at there jokes

Izzy: " hey... knock, knock "

Dr. Jekyll: " who's there? "

Izzy: " ice "

Dr. Jekyll: " ice who? "

Izzy: " nICE to meet you "

Dr. Jekyll laugh so hard that he never heard a joke before his entire life until Izzy told him that he wasn't wanted to talk about it

Izzy: " Dr. Jekyll, I know this is out of topic... can please tell the truth the WHOLE truth "

Dr. Jekyll's smile faded away, he had no choice but to tell her already, besides he already shows her some hint of transformation infront of her a little bit so... he cleared his thoat and look at her

Dr. Jekyll: " Izzy... I'm gonna give you a favor for me, ok? "

Izzy: " what is it? "

Dr. Jekyll gave Izzy a piece of paper a list of chemicals and science equipment

Dr. Jekyll: " the apoticary is waiting and ready the chemicals for me and you need to give it to me at 10:00 PM "

Izzy: " why? "

Dr. Jekyll: " it's time you need to know the truth "
