The End
I cried under the pouring rain as I stare at the world in front of me. I could picture it continuing without my presence. I could imagine it continuing without even noticing my absence. I took the last glance, the last smile and the last tear before ending the pain—before ending everything.
I felt the wind touching my body as I fall. Everything slows down as if I were in a movie. I could see every raindrop and I could feel it against my skin bringing shivers down my spine. Memories came flashing back—those tears I shed, those smiles I faked and those painful memories that led me to this shameful end.
This is the end, I know it.
I could see the light not from the city. It was a different one. It was something stronger than any other. I kept falling and as time flies, I'm getting closer to the ground—closer to the very end.
Although this isn't your expectation of happily ever after, I'm satisfied.
This is how I will end.I closed my eyes and embraced myself as I felt the ground.
