"You look pretty today."
I slowly turn to see a small smirk from Spencer's lips and kick him under the desk.
" You look pretty ugly today, has anyone told you that?"
His smile quickly shots down and he clears his throat, " not by ugly girls like you."
I kick him harder this time, " shut up, you look like boring elevator music if it was a person."
"How romantic of you to say honey, too bad my other girlfriends don't think so."
" You're right, Derek would never say that to your face" I say smiling happily as he glares at me.
"Well I-"
" I'm leaving you Spencer, goodbye" I say fake yawning as I stand up from my chair.
" Wait, come back, I wasn't done talking to you!"
Spencer quickly catches up to me.
"Yes Spencer?"
" Are you going to watch Princess Diaries tonight?"
"Maybe."
" I'll take that as a yes...let's watch it together."
I turn to him in shock.
" Spencer are you feeling well?" I ask, placing my hand on his forehead.
"Yes? Why wouldn't I?"
"I just didn't think you would like a girly movie. But I'm glad you looked into a new era."
"Oh shut up" he softly sighs.
We walk together quietly through the halls, for once not arguing.
It feels different but nice.
" I truly do think you are beautiful, you know. Well, of course you know, you must know, only an idiot wouldn't be able to see that."
My feet stop in shock but he continues walking.
" Aphrodite must be jealous of you, must be why you fail chemistry so badly. But I think the gods knew what they were doing. Your stubbornness is your worst trait but even as someone as greedy as myself can't seem to hate that feature of you. You said I look like boring elevator music but you look like every good moment in life...in my life." He slowly turns to me, putting his hands in his pockets and softly smiling, " maybe you're not so bad."
