CHAPTER FIVE

Third person's POV

"You don't mean you're going alone, do you?" Baba said looking up from his phone.

"Baba I can go alone of course, I always go alone fa" she pouted and he shook his head

"No, not now. You're no longer the single girl you were" he said and she raised a brow

"What do you mean I am not the single girl anymore? I can take care of myself please" She sat beside him on his sofa

"Alfaris. You're engaged already to that guy and in months...you're going to be his responsibility, call him. Let him know" he said sarcastically looking back at his phone

"What the Jahannam!!" She said in her mind.

"Haba Daada, nifa gaskiya bana son..." she stopped right in her track at the glare he sends her way

"Ameerah" Maa came in with a mug of coffee

"Call Alfaris, and let him know you're going to have dinner with the girls" she finalized, and baba nodded.

"But amma.." she started but Maa stopped her

"Uhm-uhm, be the good girl you always were" she said making her groaned and head back to her room.

"And..be nice okay?" Baba said before she reached her door. She rolled her eyes and walked in.

She searched for his number and finally dialed 'ALFARIS'.

He picked up right away with a groan.

"What a surprise!" He exclaimed making her roll her eyes

"Assalamu alaikum" she said between gritted teeth

His smile broadened

"Wa alaikum Salaam, wife" she rolled her eyes.

"Dama...uhm..I am going to have dinner with my friends ne" she said and he surprisingly sat up.

"Uhm..Maa and Baba insist I let you know" she sighed, his smile widened

"I'll be by your gate in 15" he said all excited

"No! I can drive gentleman" she rolled her eyes

"I know you can, but I'll be here uhm?" He said and she groaned

"Fine!" she sighed and he smiled before ending the call

She rolled her eyes without sparing him a look.

"Destination?" He questioned.

She gave him the address and he heads to Noor's house.

They arrived at 10, she was about to unlock the car when he stopped her. She glared at him

"What!" She raised a brow

"How am I very sure this is a friend's house?" He said with a pursed lip

"What do you mean..?! See gentleman! I ain't your wife okay?! You don't have the right to ask me this okay?! Mind your business" she spats the words at him and gets of the car, he followed with a wide smile.

"Let Noor come out okay? Only then I'll go away" he told her, she sighed and phoned Noor asking her to come out.
