CHAPTER SIX
Third person's POV
Maa came in with a Salaam to which Ameerah returned saying her last prayer and took off her hijab smiling at her.
Maa sat on the edge of Ameerah's bed gesturing her to come sit beside her, Ameerah sat looking down at her fingers, she knows whenever Maa does this then she's being serious, she was impatiently waiting to hear what Maa has to say.
"Taufeeq.." Maa started and Ameerah quickly looked up at her, her heart beats faster as she stare blankly Maa
"Calm down" Maa smiles and she nodded "so your baba went further to check on him, and what he finds out was not really good, that was why he wasn't serious about you two at all" Ameerah looked away, trying to blink back her tears
"Look at you Ameerah, its been weeks now...look at how you disturbed yourself about him...you're not even sure if he deserves you" Maa told her, that was it and Ameerah loses her resistance and throw herself on Maa crying her heart out
"I love him Amma.. I don't know what to do" she said between sobs
Maa feels really bad for she can't do anything about it, and all that happened, happens for good.
"You don't wanna know anything about what your father finds out?" Maa asked after a while of not uttering a word, Ameerah pulled back wiping away her tears
"I don't want to feel broken, I don't want my love for Taufeeq to turn into a hatred, I think I shouldn't know anything about him" she was back to sobbing again, Maa hugged her patting her back soothingly
"Try giving Alfaris a chance, please" Maa told her, she pulled back staring down at her fingers without saying a word
"Ameerah, please" Maa pleaded
"I still love Taufeeq Amma" she wiped a tear that was trying to escape
"You'll only get over him by giving another person a chance, you'll be fine" Maa assured her, she didn't say anything but stare away
"Maa I promise to try my all best to let go of him, but I can't promise to give Alfaris a chance" she said holding Maa's hands
Hajiya Hadiza huffed a sigh
"Just promise you'd be alright, Alfaris is a great one and I assure you...you'll fall in love once again but this time around with the right person" with that, she walks away, Ameerah sighed getting off her bed and walks sluggishly into her bathroom to take a shower.

Maheera: Aloo👋
Raadiya: hey babies.
Ameerah: hi.
Maheera: Aww look who's here😻
Raadiya: Meerah💖
Noor: finally!! You back😩❤️
Ameerah: yeah I know🙄 I missed you girls😪🥀
The girls have some random chats, greeting and all

Ameerah: Okay, I think I need this.
Ameerah quickly grabbed an abbaya and a matching veil, she applied her lip gloss and kuhled her eyes, that's all she was able to put on as a makeup.
She let Maa knows and didn't try to stop her because she knows Ameerah need to get out of her shell and this will so much help.
Baba wasn't home so she grabbed her keys and walked out to the parking lot to get her car.
"You look pale, you've not been fine" Raadiya shut Ameerah a questioning smile.
