CHAPTER NINE

Ameerah's POV

The event was over and everyone was sauntering out, it was such an amazing evening.

All the guests are gone, except for my family and his. I sat on a chair with my best friends having some tiktoks when that asshole pops.

"Sorry girls I am disturbing I know, but I need to talk to Ameerah if you don't mind of course" he was pretending to be nice, I rolled my eyes sipping my drink and before I know..the girls were no where to be seen.

He sat down opposite me, staring at me like he has never once set an eye on me, I rolled my eyes looking away.

"Matata" he smiled annoyingly, I didn't spare him a look but sip more of my drink.

"Ameerah, look at me" he instructed, I hummed not giving him a glance

"Please, look at me" he protested, I rolled my eyes before setting them on his face.

"What do you want?" I kept the empty cup aside, resting my hands on the table between us and place my chin on my palms.

"You know what I want Ameerah, we need to talk and settle things" he said acting very serious, as if I'll ever care.

"Finally being serious" I whispered down my breath

"Why neither you check my messages? Nor answer my calls?" He asked and I looked away

"I wasn't near my phone" I said nonchalantly

"All this while and you have not been near your phone? Shikenan, I hope everything is going to be fine again" he said, I rolled my eyes

"That's only when you pack yourself and get away from my life" I said down my breath, he probably heard me. His smile broadened

"I ain't going anywhere without you, aha?" He winked, maye!!

"Excuse me" I said being on my feet, he stood too

"You look beautiful, but I think the clothes are quite tight" he said, if only he knows how annoying he is! Ugh!!

"The last thing I want to know is how you think" I rolled my eyes, they surely are tired of the way I kept rolling them every now and then.

"I am driving you back home" he smirked, I was about to protest when Maa pipped through the door to the hall

"Aww you two are here, Alfaris drop her home when you are done I am taking her car with me to the mall" Maa said and I raised a brow

"What amma? Where's my car keys" I look around, she shakes it making a noise

"Noor grabbed them for me, I've got my friends with me so bye" she said and walked away. I groaned softly glaring at the door

"After you, wife" he ushered and I gave in. we strode to the parking lot in a complete silence, it seems we're the only ones left. He opened the door for me in the name of being gentle. Your wahala oh.

The ride was silent, his phone kept ringing for more than twice, I rolled my eyes.

He gave in and pick up placing it on his ears

"I've told you inazuwa...I'll be there in 10" he said and cut the line, And back to complete silence again.

The last event is today which's the walima, it was 7:00pm before it ends. I was so exhausted and my body cries for bed, I prayed my Ishaa as soon as it's called for. By 8:00 dot I was already at bed.
