CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Third person's POV

"Wtf" she cursed under her breath before pipping out of the covers, she whispered some prayers before turning her side only to meet his annoying sleepy  face.

His phone was waking the whole world up while he was comfortably sleeping, how stupid.

She gets her self off the bed and walks to his side of the bed spotting his phone on the drawer, she was going to silence it when the ID caller catches her attention.

She raised a brow when the call went off and another followed, who is she?

Probably his girlfriend, as if she'll ever care.

She dropped the phone and sauntered into the bathroom, did her normal routine before coming out, he was still in bed sleeping like a dead body. Such a lazy ass.

She grabbed her robe and put it on before heading outside, the twins were right at the living room watching and she gladly walks to them, after sharing pleasantries she find a spot and sat.

"Kun kini kwana biyu uhm?" She said

"No fah, we've been so busy because we'll be back at school soon" Ayrah said and she nodded

"Ehhyah, final year yeah?" She asked and they both nodded

"I can't wait to get done with school wallah! I wonder why Abba insists we finish uni before marriage" Ayrah sighed and she laughed

"Shameless, dadina da ke Wallahi." Ayesha glared and she shrugged

"So yanzu muje muyi breakfast uhm? I don't wanna hear anyone say pim aha" Ameerah said, they both nodded and headed to the table, serve themselves and dig into their mouthwatering food.

He joined them later on and grabbed the seat next to hers, she didn't spare a look his way. Rather lowered her gaze and said a simple

"Good morning" to which he answered before sharing pleasantries with his sisters.

"So yeah, what were you girls discussing" he asked out of curiosity

"Well, I was just telling them that I definitely will instantly get married as soon as school ends" Ayrah said and he raised a brow

"Who said so? Anna? Or Abba?" He asked with a straight

"None of them, nunu you know I've once talked to abba about it but he dismissed the whole thing. And kuma naga karatun kawai ake so na karasa then why will I wait" she explained and he nodded

"Sure, tunda ke kin raina kowa ba. Look at you ke baki jin kunyan fadan haka ma ko? Ko kinga sa'anki ne, look karma ki bata lokacin ki I'm telling you sai kin fara aiki then talk about marriage" he glared at her, she pouted

"Haba Yah, nikam gaskiya aure zanyi" he shrugged digging in his plate, he was stealing looks at Ameerah as she was gently feeding herself.

"I was thinking.." he cleared his throat

"Ko zamuje ki gaida Anna" he said, well he knows she can't say no while the twins were there, just a good chance to beat her to it.

"Yes please Aunty, Anna has been complaining wai rawwa kake mata tunda amarya ma ba ka kawo mata ba" Ayesha said, he smirked because there's no way she decline his offer now

"Okay, let me get ready" she said and stood up, he held her hand making her look at him

"Eat first" he ushered

"I'm okay" she simply said retrieving her hand back.

She walks back to her room sighing, anyways she's finally going to be spending a day out.

"You have no right to tell me what to put on and what to not!" She glared, his smile broadened and he shook his head

"Ameerah babu inda zaki da wannan kayan, go back and find a better one" he said calmed and she rolled her eyes

"You can't come and dist..." she gulped down her words as he grabbed her by the waist and pinned her to the wall. She quickly shook her head

"You wear what I want" he said, she nodded gasping

"Fine, I'll change into a better one. Just let go of me" he smirked before letting her go. She almost rushed into the closet gasping.

He walked back to the living room where he left his phone and car keys, he grabbed them and walked out to wait for her in the car since the twins were gone already.

It was such a huge house and she can't help but admire it, they walked further side by side to the door where and elderly woman welcomes them inside.

The modernized living room was well decorated, much to her liking. Anna came out of the kitchen smiling widely as she walked further and engulfed Ameerah in a motherly hug.

She sat her beside her on one of the cushions and Alfaris on another, Ameerah felt home, Anna is such a loving mother. Though she knows her for long but she has never been this close to her.

They were being entertained with snacks and smoothies, as Anna walked back into the kitchen leaving the huge room for the two of them.

"I will have to leave, Will be back to pick you up" he told her being on his feet, as if she cares. She nodded her head anyways because she wasn't ready for any fight at her in-law's.

"A'ah, where are you going? Ga abinci ya yi" Anna came in, he rubbed his neck

"Anna I'll be back, besides yanzu muka ci abinci ma." He told her, she glared

"I thought we were spending the day" she said

"I just received a message from office Anna, but Ameerah will be here till noon" he told her and she nodded

"Okay Fine" she smiled

He walks further to Ameerah and took a hold of her hand, placing it on his lips, he dropped a tender kiss before repeating the same on the other. He let her go and walked away, wait..did he just did that? And before Anna?! How Shameless.

As said, he came back to pick her up after Ishaa. Anna has really loved her, Ameerah was such a daughter-in-law.

Bakhoors, perfs, incense wood, durraha, khaffafa, and some set of warmers Anna gifted her, she was so grateful and thanked her quite well. 

Ayrah and Ayesha accompanied her to the parking space, they said their goodbyes before walking back and Alfaris ignited the car engine.
