(That's Beau)
~~~~~~~
I woke up a little loopy, not exactly sure where I was. Basically just staring at the plain white ceiling. It was a cool ceiling really. Smooth and white. Not a blinding white, but a nice white. I turned over on my side, facing the same window I feel asleep staring at. Suddenly everything that had happened yesterday and technically the day before came crashing back to me. Looking out the window again, I took notice of how it was still dark out. Well, not super dark, but the sun was definitely not up fully yet.
Grabbing my phone off of the nightstand I checked the time. 5:00 in the morning. Oh joy. This whole time change jet lag thing is not gonna fly with me. It was obvious I was not going back to sleep anytime soon so I grabbed my notebook and pencil, only to get up and head straight for the bathroom. After I was done, I went back to my bed and started to write.
~~~~~~~~
When the sun finally rose at 6:30 in the morning I couldn't have been happier. I had spent the time writing and watching Netflix. Jumping out of bed I headed straight to my suitcase where I put on a bathing suit. I didn't have very many, but finally decided on a plain black bandeau top with black and white striped bottoms. I threw on a black tank and some jean shorts with my grey vans boat shoes.
Flinging my hair up in a messy ponytail I grabbed my towel and bag then made my way out the door and down to the lobby of the hotel. Looking for coffee, I started to walk around and finally stopped at this cute little shop.

Walking in I ordered a small coffee to-go, added some cream and sugar then left, heading towards the spot on the beach where I sat yesterday. The plan was to sit her all day, getting up only to get food, water, and use the restroom. My body relaxed the second I stepped onto the beach, excited to lay on the toasty sand. I laid my towel out and took my shirt and shorts off, hoping to get a nice tan going.
Finally I pulled out my earbuds and got American Rejects, "Dirty Little Secret" blasting as I laid on my back, eyes closed, enjoying the moment and the welcoming sun rays. This spot really makes me think.
I was so lucky, enjoying life, loving Australia. This is precisely where I'm supposed to me. I don't exactly know how or why but I've got a gut feeling about it.
The song was just transferring to "Swing Swing," also by American Rejects, when I felt my left ear bud being smoothly removed from my ear. I blinked my eyes open, irritated that someone had interrupted the stream of music, and looked for the reason it was taken out.
Air was stuck in my lungs and my pulse quickened rapidly. Our eyes met, his so welcoming and gentle, hair shining, looking messy yet great all at once. His cute nose made his face just come together as one. He smiled at me, oblivious to the fact he had taken my breath away.

A grin creeped up on my face as he spoke. "You were never gonna use that number where you?" His smile slightly faltering, while his eyes still sparked.

I somehow figured out how to breath again and responded, "Actually, you're wrong. I was going text you. Eventually."

He smirked before responding, "Well then, it's a good thing I ran into you. Because who knows when eventually is." His smirk was the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. I could stare at it all day.

Sitting up cross legged, "Exactly, " Was all I said. He looked as if he was trying to figure out what I meant. I didn't even know what I mean't, but it got him thinking.
"
What are you doing up so early anyways? Aren't you supposed to have jet lag or something?"

I just shrugged in response and spoke up. "Why are you up so early?" I asked right back.

He smirked again then said,"The surf is the best early in the morning. I take it you don't surf."

I smirked right back and confidently said, "You're wrong there dude."

He looked shocked at first but gained his composure quickly, impressed. "Well alright then, want to head out?" he asks me, looking hopeful.

I thought about it for a second, returning with, "Maybe another time. This coffee isn't gonna hold me over so how about some food?" My confidence a 10 on the outside but in reality the inside was a -100.

He eyed the water for what felt like years before simply answering, "That sounds great." He smiled his fascinating smile and stood up.

I set my earbuds and phone in my bag, then noticed a hand stretched out, Beau waiting for me to grab ahold. I slightly smiled then grabbed ahold. After he pulled me up he bent down to grab my clothes, handing them to me so I could quickly pull them on.

He then handed me my towel, now folded up and I stuffed it in my bag. "So, where to," he asks me as we start walking off the beach.

"Yeah, ask the girl who just moved here." I turned to him, a joking 'are you stupid' look on my face.

He chuckles, "You're right, my bad. Ok so, ummm Italian?" He gestured to the left as we get to the crosswalk.

"Dude I love anything and everything Italian but isn't it kind of early for pasta and stuff?" I give him a goofy smile.

"It's never to early for Italian." He said with a laugh, then grabbed my hand and pulled me in the direction of the restaurant.
