"All of this food..." Megan thought to herself as she stepped into the East Dining hall she spent the last ten minutes waddling towards on the small NEP campus. A walk like that used to take her less than five minutes her freshman year, and even last year just over six minutes. The super-sized senior took in the powerful aroma of the dining hall, the first time she's been to one in months, and her first visit to East Dining in a year. Despite their apartment being attached to West Dining, Megan and Amy quickly went from eating some meals there to being too lazy to walk the 300 feet to the dining hall and wait in line, instead opting for delivery for all 5 to 8 meals they eat a day.

Lucky for Megan, it wasn't a busy time for the dining hall, just a few minutes before 2:00 PM, so she had no problem finding a four person table; she knew she was way too wide at this point to sit at anything smaller. The giant girl placed her backpack on one of the chairs and slowly made her way to the food. Having only two dining halls on campus, both served a variety of food to please every student. East and West Dining both host a pasta bar, a soup & salad bar, a grill, rotating specials, and a dessert table, amongst other options scattered about. Megan knew she needed multiple trips, but for her first serving, her eyes were glued to one of the specials; BBQ ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Her mouth salivated as she walked up to the server. While the bars are self-serve, specials are handed off to students, probably to conserve the limited amount they have. But if Megan's extra weight gave her one thing, it was extra confidence to get whatever she wanted, at least when it came to eating. "The special?" the grumpy looking student worker asked Megan without even looking up.

"Um actually, instead of the beans, may I have extra potatoes? And can you also hook me up with extra ribs maybe?" she said as she batted a smile. The worker finally looked up as if he was preparing to say no before laying his eyes on Megan. Her smile turned into a puzzled look as she couldn't tell if he was about to roast her, propose to her, or outright laugh at her request. "It's okay if not..." she said timidly.

"Oh no... it's okay..." he said as he made Megan a custom plate. "I-I never really get requests like that... but it's okay that you did!" The student hastily made the plate as he served what Megan guessed was the largest fellow student he's ever seen.

"You're the best!" Megan said excitedly, her tone changing as soon as she realized that her size merely took him aback. "What a cutie..." she scoffed to herself as she proudly flaunted her enlarged backside walking away. After grabbing a soda, she reached her table, out of breath as always, after not only walking around for three minutes, but being on her feet for almost 15 now. "I haven't... walked this long in... wowie," she sighed.

Megan put her plate on the table and was about to pull up a chair before looking down at it. "Oh... that's not gonna work." She scanned the chair up and down seeing it could fit one of her thighs at best. However, she was desperate to sit and needed to plop somewhere soon. So, thinking like a true quarter ton person, she grabbed of the other three chairs at the table and put it right next to her's, and she slowly descended her giant butt into the two seats, making sure she still wasn't going to be too heavy. Despite being sitting in seats meant for two people, her giant thighs still spilled off of both sides, but not enough to be uncomfortable.

"That's better," she sighed with relief as she wasted no time grabbing her fork and knife and digging into the sweet BBQ goodness in front of her, eating quickly but savoring each bite. "I miss dining halls..." she thought nostalgically. Along with late night take out, dining halls were responsible for Megan gaining well over 300 pounds in about 3 and a half years. Anyone could confidently say she got her money's worth on her meal plans ten fold, even if she isn't using it that much this semester out of laziness.
