After Mark and his family left, I helped mum with tidying up the dining room, washing the dishes with soap and water placing them on the rack to dry.

"Mum, I'm going to go for a walk, might pick up some things from the store while I'm at it," I yell as I grab my bag and head out the door before mum could even reply.

As I walk down the street, I have already seen half of the town on the drive while moving, but I am curious to see more of the town, the unseen parts.

Walking up the street it seemed like a friendly neighbour, not dangerous or mysterious at all like the news reports portray it to be.

I walk all the way up the street, take a left and continue walking up another street which finally leads to a forest across the road. Walking down the street, there were signs everywhere. "Beware," "keep clear," "enter at your own risk," "No entry," "prohibited area," "Stay out or die." I like the challenge, so why not walk through the forest for a bit? See what all the commotion is about and why it's a secluded area.

I spotted a small pathway which I'm guessing is the entrance of this forest. I love the lush greenery growing on the trees, small trees, big trees, baby trees, medium trees, thin trees, thick trees, small bushes here and there, plants growing, berry bushes here and there too. How beautiful is this?

As I walk through the forest it isn't so scary at all, I love it, hm maybe I'll pick some blackberries  as a snack, gotta love blackberries fresh from the branches.

Here I am walking through the forest for over 17 minutes when I suddenly hear a branch snap behind me... Now I know not to say the whole "Who's there?" crap because I've read my fair share of novels in my life to know there will be no response or it'll get me killed either way. Just keep walking ahead and be brave. Why would someone say "who's there" knowing there wont be a response?

Walking more deeper into the forest I felt someone watching me but I shook it off as just my nerves playing up on me... There's no one there. It's just a wild animal. Repeating those words in my mind helped shake the feeling off. I continue walking throughout the forest enticed about the forest and how beautiful it looked with all the greenery.

"We meet again beautiful," a man's voice came from behind me, making me jump and spin around to see who it was.

"YOU!" I screeched. "What? Are you following me or something?"

"Nah sweetheart, just walking about, the name's Adam," he said coming closer as I walk backwards. "Thought you scared me off at school didn't ya?" he asks.

"Oh I wouldn't say scare but you would really love your manhood to come off wouldn't you?" I reply, hissing.

"Cut it out, I know you have never done that before. You would have been serving time in juvenile by now," he spoke aggressively.

"Then why? Why did you freak out when I spoke such words?" I ask, anger clear in my tone.

"Because there were teacher's around. I'm not stupid," he answers a smirk on his face going ear to ear.

"You say your not but you do look it. Your face says it but then your words PROVE it," I growl, walking away.

"Oh no you don't," he says, grabbing my arm spinning me back around to face him as he grabs both my arms. "You remember what I told you in school don't you?"

"What part? The parents or your bedroom? Because both ideas are pretty disgusting to me, both making me sick to my stomach," I reply angrily.

"If not my bedroom then out here," he says suddenly making me even more angry, looking him in the eyes as I knee him in the balls making him flinch and let me go as I back away to run away but seeming like someone else had a plan before I could even run away.

Something or someone flies past me the wind gushing past me nearly making me fall over, someone wearing a cloak of some sort... Adam now bleeding and unconscious. Whatever this thing was looked my way before taking Adam's body with them. Blood everywhere... Why am I craving the taste of blood...?  I need to get out of here immediately! I should of never came here.

I ran and ran as fast as I could... sprinting for the exit of the forest, I've never sprinted so fast. My heart beating very fast, legs flying underneath me as I sprint down the streets, across the roads ignoring the cars speeding, people swearing my way as I run out infront of them reaching my house all puffed out from my sprint. Bolting up to my room where I knew it would be safe.
