Mark's view:

After my brother's angry rage my body felt as if I'd gotten my back stomped on 10, 000 times. Who knew Vamp could be this way?

I decide I need to walk around the house a bit to get a clear mindset also to calm myself down from the situation. I pace up and down the hallway in front of my room not daring to go over to my brother's room in case I got a beating, I head down the staircase then into the living room, to my surprise mum is there, I want to turn back around and walk away. But it's my mum, you can't just walk off after you enter a room like that.

Here we go...

"Hi sweetie, what's wrong?" she asks concern clear as day in her voice.

"Nothing," I reply, trying to hide my thoughts and the sadness in my tone.

"Come on sweetheart, tell Mumma bear," mum tries again but before I could even say anything I found myself sitting on the couch, my head partly on her shoulder, partly on her chest with her thumb stroking my cheek softly. "What's wrong?" she asks again.

"Why do siblings have to be so... so..." I begin, shutting my mouth, not wanting to be a blabbermouth nor sound like I was better than anyone.

"Tell me, baby," she begins again.

"Thinks he knows so much and thinks he can tell me who I can speak to and what I can & can't do," I blurt.

"All siblings go through their fair share of troubles. Was like that when I was young with my brother's and sisters. I remember when I was 14 we went horse riding, between my brothers and sisters I was the better horse rider, now my brother didn't like the fact I was so good and a natural at it so he thought he would push me off my horse.

"I fell right off, broke a couple of ribs on impact, my arm was also injured. I had some cuts and bruises all over my body. He got in so much trouble that day. Your grandmother yelling at him like there was no tomorrow, as for your grandfather he did much more than yell. I don't condone what your grandfather did, but your grandparents never liked the whole sibling rivalry thing, just tried to raise us as a loving bunch," mum tells me still stroking my cheek still as she reflected back to her childhood.

"But you're better all now?" I ask looking up at her face.

"Yes. But something else is bothering you, I can tell. Go on darling," she urges, a soft smile on her face as she kisses my forehead.

"If you knew something about someone that they don't know about... Would you tell them?" I ask her.

"Well, it would depend. Who is the person? And what do you know sweetheart?" She asks, warmth in her voice.

"Well, Josh recons Isabella is a hybrid. So a mix but doesn't know what creature mix she is yet," I explain.

"Well, I'd say find out more about her before you rush into telling her. You need to be sure before you tell her anything. And I would strongly recommend you not tell her about us being vampires either," mum informs me as I nod then stand up.

I thank mum, smiling at her as I run back upstairs, instead of going to my room I decide to pay my sister a visit in her room so I knock on her door.

"Come in," her voice sang out from inside of her room, as I enter the blonde-haired girl with golden eyes, her body was slim but was curvacious. She was my older sister, 29 in human years. The girl sitting on her bed, her bed a queen-sized bed with a dark red frame, a black blanket with a tiger on it covering the length of the bed, the walls of her room cream coloured, a white rug covering every inch of the carpet in her room, dark red wardrobes & tallboys neatly places along one side of the room, her study desk next to them, the walls of her room decorated with various posters and images/photos. My sister wasn't a girly type of girl.

"Hey brother, come sit next to your sista," she spoke in a sassy way followed by a giggle patting the bed next to her a wide grin on her face. "What's up bub?"

I force smile as I go and sit next to her not saying anything but, "You always had a lovely style when it comes to decorating Vianna"

"I have mums style sense but that's not the reason you came here, so blurt your heart out," she said with a smile. She always knew me so well...

"If you knew something or thought you knew something about someone would you tell them?" I ask, not bearing to look at her.

"What do you know about me? Tell me" she demands.

"Not you woman. Someone else" I growl.

"Why so serious bub? But seriously who?"

"Isabella."

"What do you think you know about her?"

"My friend Josh reckons she's a hybrid of some sort a-"

"JOSH?! That asshole who made fun of me 50 years ago?" she snaps now grabbing my arm, her nails digging into my flesh.

I stay silent.

"I thought you were no longer friends with him after that incident!" she screeches as her hand strikes my cheek.

"Ouch! Stop hitting me because of him, woman! You and him deal with it, do not keep me in the middle of your dramas!" I yell.

Yes, he said something rude about her but it was just in a joking manner. Damn, why did I open my big mouth?

"Go on, what do you think you know?" she asks, wanting to know more information as she calms herself down.

"I don't know if she even is one or not. She doesn't even know it," I continued.

"Have you tried tapping into her emotions?" she asks looking at me. "Hybrids don't let anyone tap into their emotions"

"I haven't tried that but I will try that when I get the chance sis, thanks sis, you're the best!" I said as I hope off her bed walking out of her room and back to my own room.
