NOTE: I borrowed this idea off of a prompt I googled. Google "ship story prompts", look into images, first image, number six.

"So, what movie would you like to see?" Red Sole asked as Omega scrolled through the list of movies playing in their local theater.
It had been Omega's idea to go see a movie, and Red Sole was all over that. She decided to let Omega pick the movie out, and she always felt a little disappointed whenever the straight-haired inkling disregarded the scary movies.
"You say you can handle them, but we both know they would keep you up at night," Omega sighed, though her voice was glazed with laughter. "Unless you just want an excuse to cuddle?"
This statement would make Red Sole so embarrassed, she would grow quiet and allow Omega to continue scrolling through the listings. Suddenly, a particular movie caught both of their eyes. It was an old human movie, based on an anime about people who had special powers, and they all attended a school for superheroes. Both Red Sole and Omega had a particular taste for that anime, and they had seen every episode of it.
"How did we not know about this?!" Red Sole explained upon finding it.
Omega shrugged. "Guess we're seeing that one," she stated.
Red Sole bounced up and down excitedly on the couch, still sitting, as Omega booked the tickets.
----------
"Do we have to do this?" Omega mumbled as Red Sole finished applying the purple skin paint on her.
"Of COURSE we do! This is an anime movie! We GOTTA be in cosplay!" Red Sole responded, chipper as ever.
Omega sighed and pulled the black, spiky-haired wig over her hair as Red Sole attached the blonde buns on top of the base of her own wig. The two of them were going as villains from the series.
"Technically, we don't, but OK," Omega sighed, although her lips had curled into a small smile, especially when she saw the results of the makeover - she was just glad that she didn't have to be burned to make it work. "Now come on. We're gonna be late."
"Okie dokie!" Red Sole grinned as the two of them made their way to the theater.
The summer sun was just starting to set over the horizon, giving the world a golden hue. The theater wasn't too far off, so they just decided to walk. Red Sole was talking Omega's ear off, gushing about how they were going to look so cool - especially Omega. The excitement was contagious, Omega thought, and there was a slight spring in her step, which was noticed only by Red Sole. Finally they reached the theater.
Not much longer, they had finished ordering their snacks. Red Sole was considering sharing popcorn, but Omega knew that she would hardly get a bite in before it was gone. But she wasn't too keen on getting the value packs, either - they included candy, and Red Sole did NOT handle candy well.
"At least I'm not as bad as Emperor!" Red Sole whined when Omega told her off. (I headcanon that Emperor is super sensitive to sugar, and gets bad sugar rushes)
"The difference between you and Emperor is that Emperor knows NOT to binge on sweets... most of the time," Omega replied, as her mind drifted back to that one Turf War she watched where Emperor made that very mistake.
They decided that they would have one small bag of popcorn and one small root beer, each. Red Sole could handle that much sugar. They noticed a couple of people staring at them, as most inklings were there to see bigger movies. Red Sole didn't mind, though, and even Omega felt better when they saw that a few people in their theater were also dressed up.
Finally, the movie began.
----------
"Wow. That movie was really good!" chirped a surprisingly impressed Omega.
"GOOD?! THAT MOVIE WAS THE BEST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE!" an even more eager Red Sole shouted as they made their way home.
The sun had finally set over the horizon, and the stars were starting to dot the inky black sky. Red Sole began to recite her favorite parts of the movie - which took almost the entire trip home. Omega would occasionally nod to show she was listening. After a bit, she began to scratch her skin.
"You OK, Omega?" Red Sole asked, trying her hardest to not make a pun based on a villain from the series.
"Yeah. Just a bit itchy, that's all. Must be the paint..." she muttered.
The two of them stopped at Red Sole's house to put everything away - she had all of the supplies to remove the cosplays, anyway. As Omega began to wipe of the paint, she couldn't help but wince when she saw her skin.
"Yikes..." she whispered, causing Red Sole to turn around as she finished wiping the dark circles she applied under her eyes.
"What's up, Ome - oh! Oh my goodness..."
The skin where the paint had been had flared up and was bright red. Omega scratched the burning skin as Red Sole hurried to wipe the rest of the paint off of her. When it was all gone, Omega looked like a mess.
"Hang on! I'll get some cream," Red Sole said in a hurried voice as she ran off.
She scoured the medicine cabinet until she found some anti-itch cream. She also grabbed the bottle of skin paint, too, to make sure that whatever the itching was, it wasn't a sign of skin poisoning. As Omega rubbed the cream on the infected spots, Red Sole read the back of the bottle when she found a warning.
"Omega, do you have sensitive skin?" she asked.
Omega nodded. "Yeah, why?"
Red Sole read aloud from the bottle. "'WARNING: This product contains chemicals that may irritate sensitive skin.' Oh my Cod..."
Red Sole grew silent as tears threatened to stream down her face. Omega noticed this quickly and responded.
"Hey. It isn't your fault. If anything, I should have pointed it out..."
"Y-yeah, but... you looked so cool and... I thought you would be safe and now... and now..."
Omega reacted quickly and wrapped Red Sole in a hug. She began to stroke her curly hair, hoping to calm her down and not make it so that the hug further invoked the tears.
"Like I said, it isn't your fault. The itching is starting to go away now, anyway. And hey, it really did look awesome. Just be sure to double-check next time, OK?" Omega said in a surprisingly quiet voice.
Red Sole sniffled. "Y-yeah. OK..."
Omega drew away from the hug and kissed Red Sole's forehead.
"Now, I'm gonna get home and get some rest. Good night. I love you!" Omega said as she walked out the door.
"Good night. Love you too!" Red Sole replied.
After a few hours of thinking about the movie, Red Sole finally drifted off to sleep. Omega, in her own bed, fell asleep thinking that she and Red Sole did look sort of awesome - even if it had her scratching like Shigaraki.
