One time, We drank together

One time,
We drank together...

It was delightfully good.
You were happy, I was happy.

Gradually, your friends and my friends had occasionally teased us.

Up in that night, where your clothes were just tight,
The light was dimly blight, your lips were so bright.
It was you and your plights.

Then...

Just a few couple of cups, it became hard to talk to you.
Your eyes turned shiny, I gazed at you shyly.

And the background became rowdy, my mind spanned heavily.

Three times the booze, three times a story,
Of how I and you, stumbled our feet across those creaks.

We told them that repeatedly, three times!

And you got yourself confused,

"What's your name" You asked six times.

They got into a fuzz, the crowd was so lively.

But suddenly, lightheadedness was gone.
I woke up to my senses when your tongue slurred to a slip.

All the booze got flushed!

"I feel good talking with you, all day and all night."

"Do you know my secret?"

"I've liked you for so long..."

A few weeks passed by...

I watched you all around.
Hate to be a stalker but I couldn't help but to ask.

"Did she mean what she said?"

I've asked around your friends, I got nothing in return.
No response, No answer.

More fidgets, more uneasy begging was made.

I thought about it seven times!

"Maybe baby, just maybe she wants me to chase her?"

"Baby, maybe I should chase her?"

I told myself to be clear.

"That's just how a lady is..."

Overly unexplainably perturbed,
Yet all my doubts got cleared away, and I can't believe my ears!

My shoulders perked up.

Up in that night, where your clothes were just tight,
The light was dimly blight, your lips were so bright.
It was you and your plights.

When I recall what you told me that night,
When all the booze was suddenly flushed.

"I feel good talking with you, all day and all night."

"Do you know my secret?"

"I've liked you for so long..."

Now I couldn't help myself...

I need to know.
I tried helping you to confess.

But my mouth turned agape,
Are you really that hard?

Three times the curse, three times the pain!
Five times it broke my heart.

"Was your face made of bricks? It was too thick!"

"How could you even ask that question! You, shameless prick!"

How did it all turned this way?
Remembering that night...

Up in that night, where your clothes were just tight,
The light was dimly blight, your lips were so bright.
It was you and your plights.

When all the booze was suddenly flushed.

"I feel good talking with you, all day and all night."

"Do you know my secret?"

"I've liked you for so long..."

You were the one who told me that!
You told me all of that like a lie.
What should I believe now?

My ears couldn't believe your words.
A blurry bitch of a booze!

Mouth full of thorns, it wantonly wounded me.
Honest with a cup of beer, when booze is running at your veins.
Liar without a cup of beer, when booze is running out in your veins.

Do tell me...

Even if I lose all of my money,
I'll invite all of your friends,
And all of my friends...

Let's just go, hitch a drink!
Drowned in a pool of beers.

How I wish...

Wishing that,
When all the food is gone,
The talks turned cheap, now unsteady,
And all the cup is empty.

I wish,
How so badly I wished.

That you, would still like me again.
