And so the weekend past...
Hajime looked at the volleyball gym through the classroom window. They were supposed to have practice today but what was the point; the third years are done with high school volleyball forever. And even if Iwaizumi wanted to go, he wouldn't be there...
Speaking of him, where is he today? Iwaizumi thought. It's almost the end of the school day and Iwaizumi hasn't seen Oikawa around the school. He even checked his class during lunch break. Whatever, knowing him, he's probably at home skipping because he's too sad or something. Iwaizumi did not regret what he had said to Oikawa, he thought Tooru was being selfish. But as more days past, Iwaizumi got a bit worried. Oikawa has not shown up to school for a whole week now. The lunch-ending bell echoed through the school.
"Mattsun, do you know where Oikawa is?" Iwaiuzmi asked.
"No, but shouldn't you know where he is, you're like his best friend." Mattsun replied. Iwaiuzmi 'tched' and walked out of the classroom and back to his. He sat at his desk and pondered where Oikawa could be..

The school day came to an end and Iwaiuzmi headed straight to Oikawa's house. He entered the train right before rush hour and waited impatiently for his stop. When the train finally reached Hajime's destination, he quickly walked to the neighborhood in which they both lived in. He headed straight to Oikawa's house, having the spare key with him. The key fumbled in his hands before entering the lock and opening the door. Iwaizumi quietly crept though Oikawa's dark home home. He wondered why all the lights were turned off. Reaching the kitchen, he saw the brunette drinking something out of a mug.Tooru turned around after hearing a squeaking sound coming from the floorboard. Oikawa gasped in fear and fell to the floor as he saw a dark figure approaching him. The figure turned on the kitchen lights which revealed who the intruder really was.
"Iwa-Chan? Why are y-" Oikawa started coughing viciously. He laid on the floor for a minute before regaining his breathe. Oikawa tried again,
"Why are you in my house Iwa-Chan?" Oikawa's voice sounded raspy and Iwaizumi could clearly tell he was sick.
"That doesn't matter right now, let's get you to your bed," Iwaiuzmi said. Oikawa obeyed Hajime's orders and attempt to get up from the floor. Tooru failed the first time but finally steadied himself up. He looks so weak and pale, Iwaizumi thought. The two walked to the stairs and Oikawa slowly made his way up. It took Oikawa thirty seconds to get to the fourth step, and that's when Iwaizumi knew something else was going on with him.
"Need me to carry you, princess?" Iwaizumi asked. Oikawa blushed at the comment and continued up the stairs hoping Iwaizumi wouldn't notice. Hajime grew impatient and suddenly picked Oikawa up and adjusted him into a bridal style.
"I-Iwa-Chan, what are y-you doing?" Oikawa stuttered.
"You were too slow dumbass, now wrap your arms around my neck so you won't fall off." Iwazumi made his way up the stairs and into Oikawa's room. Tooru had his face buried in Hajime's neck to hide his embarrassing red face. Iwaizumi reaches Oikawa's room and set him gently down on his bed. The raven haired boy also tucked the brunette in and checked his temperature.
"It's like I have to do everything for you," Iwaizumi rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry Iwa-Chan," Oikawa said quietly. Iwaizumi didn't respond and took the thermometer out of Tooru's mouth.
"You have a fever."
"I know, it's been going on like this for a couple of days," Oikawa mumbled.
"Stupid, then why'd you make me take your temperature!" Iwaizumi fussed.
"I didn't Iwa-Chan, you did it by your own free will," Oikawa mentioned. Iwaizumi pauses and realized he had a natural habit of taking care of Oikawa.
"Well whatever, I'm leaving, people at school were worried an they sent me. Goodbye." Hajime said walking towards the bedroom door.
"Iwa-Chan wait I-" Oikawa went into a coughing fit again. Iwaizumi rushes back to Oikawa's side and rubbed his back. Oikawa's breathes stabilized and he began to speak again.
"Hajime, I'm so sorry about what I said. I truly regret it, There last 3 years in high school were the best years of my life because of you. Sure we didn't make it it nationals but I have you, which is way better than volleyball. Thank you for being by my side Iwa-Chan. I'm so sorry, I'm so so sor-" Oikawa fell asleep, but Iwaizumi didn't mind. He accepted Oikawa's apology, he understood Oikawa had a tough decision to make as a first year: go to Shiratorizawa and fulfill his volleyball dreams are go to Seijoh with his best friend.
Iwaizumi brushed Oikawa's brown locks out of his resting eyes and played with them, his hair is so soft. I wonder what it smells like... Iwaizumi smelled Oikawa's hair, like fresh strawberries. Hajime stared at the sleeping Oikawa in front of him, admiring his well sculpted face and fair skin. Iwaizumi leaned down and pecked Oikawa's forehead before heading off to the guest bedroom. Hajime texted his mom informing her he would be staying at Oikawa's house for the night.

Iwaizumi woke up earlier than Oikawa and checked up on him, he silently took Tooru's temperature without waking him up. Oikawa still had a fever. Iwaizumi decided to let Oikawa rest for a little bit longer while he went back to his house to grab his car.Once Hajime got his car he drove back to Oikawa's house, he found the brunette making some morning tea in the kitchen.
"Iwa-Chan, what ar-"
"Oikawa, we're going to the hospital, c'mon."
