You were still off for Christmas when you got back home and Mark was hiding something. He said it was a surprise.

You were itching to know what he could be planning. Probably something romantic.

He finally told you it was time to take you to his secret place. It was almost midnight. He told you to get in his van again which you two joked about. He smiled and drove until he parked in a parking space. He led you out and onto a sandy area. You realized it was the beach. He had set up a blanket and set 4 candles around it. There was a radio that ran off batteries laying in the center of two of the candles. He sat down on the blanket, motioning for you to sit beside him.

He put his arm around your waist. "(F/n), you should look up right now," he said, his eyes twinkling in the moonlight. You looked up and saw falling stars all around. "Wow," you said, "it's gorgeous."

"No, that's more like you," he beamed. He put his finger under your chin, making you look at him. You could feel sparks when he touched you. He gave you an Eskimo kiss. You looked into each other's eyes and you could swear you saw passion and love in his. He slowly brought you in, kissing you to the beat of the music playing on the radio, every time your lips kissed, a meteor ran across the sky.

His lips were like the stars, and you were the breaking atmosphere. The kiss was as passionate as it had ever been. You couldn't even think straight. Your atmosphere was already too broken.

He kissed iou like there was no tomorrow, exploring your mouth with his tongue. He was wearing the shirt you got him and you were wearing the locket. He made his way down to your neck and kissed it, making sparks fly. It was as if his every kiss was starting a fire with all the sparks. He stopped kissing your neck and took the locket in his hand and kissed it.

He brought his face back up to yours as a slow song came on the radio. "May I have this dance?" He held out his hand for you to take and you whispered a quiet yes. He got up and helped you to your feet.

You both began to slow dance to the tune of the music, him having his hands on your back, holding you close, his head on your shoulder.

You had one hand on his neck and the other on the back of his head. He raised it and put his forehead to yours. You wanted to say "I love you" but you could tell he already knew from looking into your eyes.

You danced the night away, under the stars until the sun began to rise.
