CHAPTER 3

"That's my kuya. I don't have a boyfriend."

"Buti naman." He said and sipped his coffee. He looked away nung tinignan ko siya.

Tama ba yung narinig ko?

Maybe I misheard it lang.

I just shrugged and stood up para itapon yung pinagkainan namin.

Geez! Why did the atmosphere suddenly seemed so awkward?

I washed my hands and poured water on my water bottle. I'll just use this para hindi na ako tayo ng tayo later pag magrereview na kami.

While I was drinking, I glanced at him and saw him walking towards here in the kitchen. Umiwas ako ng tingin sakanya before he even caught me. He dried his hands using a tissue paper that was placed near the sink area and went back in the living room.

Is he mad or something?

May nasabi ba ako? Why is he ignoring me?

I went back in the living room and sat in from of him. Kung saan ako nakaupo kanina.

"Hey." he looked shocked when I called him.

"Oh?" He said without even looking at me. Nagbubuklat lang siya ng libro.

"May nagawa ba ako?"

"Wala naman, beh." ayan! He's back to being annoying again! Hindi ko nalang sana siya tinanong. What a jerk!

"You're so quiet kasi bigla."

"Ah yon? Wala 'yon nautot lang ako. Chineck ko lang kung may amoy."

"Yuck! Kadiri, dito ka pa talaga nautot?!" I glared at him.

"Arte neto. Bakit hindi ka ba umuutot?" he defensively said. Mukha siyang batang nakikipag away. Tsk.

"Ako lang pwedeng umutot dito." I rolled my eyes.

Tinawanan niya lang ako. The heck! I realised how it sounded so weird pala. Bakit ko ba sinabi 'yon?

"Will you stop and teach me na?" I crossed my arms. He stopped when he noticed that I'm being mad na. Pero hindi naman talaga ako nagagalit. I just want to change the topic so he could forget what I've just said.

"Tuloy mo na yung pagbabasa mo. Sabihin mo 'awit' pag tapos kana."

I nodded kahit na I have no idea kung ano 'yang 'awit' na yan. I don't want to ask him naman kasi he'll just laugh at me!

I grabbed the book that I was reading earlier and focused. Naalala ko kasi we made a deal kanina, if I can't answer the question I have to do the dare.

"Awit."I finished reading all the 10 pages he's asking me to read. I'm confident na masasagot ko lahat yung tanong niya.

I heard him burst a laugh before looking at me. Pinagtripan nanaman ba ako nito?

" Uto-uto. " he said while trying to stop himself from laughing.

"Argh! You're so annoying talaga! Umuwi ka na nga lang." I stood up and grabbed my things.

"Sorry na hehe. Malay ko ba na totohanin mo talaga yung sinabi ko."

"Sorry your face!" I said while fixing my things.

He held my wrist to stop me. "Wag kana magalit, uy! Hindi na kita pagtritripan, pramis!"

I removed his hand on my wrist and went back to my seat. I crossed my arms and looked away to avoid his presence.

"Dito ka lumingon. Wala yung gwapo diyan." he chuckled. When will he stop annoying me kaya?!

I sighed and looked at him.
